Does anyone make a tapered street hockey blade?

If so please provide links where i can purchase a few (already checked ebay). also could a standard blade fit in a tapered shaft without any modifying? (i'm new to tapered sticks). and are tapered sticks just as durable as standard sticks? because it looks like the hosel on a tapered blade looks shorter.

www.inlinewarehouse.com they have plenty of stuff. Also has a very good message board. you can not put a standard blad3 in a tapered shaft or a tapered blade ni a standard shaft. I believe that may be my next stick I get.

Guy tries to Roller Blade AND play street hockey

This guy hasn't put roller blades on in nearly 15 years, but decided to give it a shot. Notice how the kids are incredibly better than he is!

Should you tape the blade on a street hockey stick?

I'm a long time hockey fan but never really played until this year. Me and my friends play a street game every Tuesday and my one friend who is a huge hockey head and plays ice and everything told me just tape the handle, not the blade. Why, and what is your opinion. Thanks

Don't tape a street hockey blade. The blades are made of a material called ABS. It is designed to wear down as you use it. Tape is fine for ice, where you have a lower drag factor (less friction). Tape creates too much drag on a street hockey blade and affects performance. My kids play in a street hockey league and aren't allowed to tape their blades.
Hope that helps.

How do you change the curve on a street hockey stick blade (its the plastic kind) ....?

when I try it just goes back to its original curve

can i change it or do i hav to just live with it

You have to heat the blade over a gas burner from a stove top... don't set it on fire or anything... just heat the blade well, until it's got some flex to it, then bend it to the curve that you desire... and find something to curl it around to hold the curve until it's completely cooled... This has worked for me in the past... and the curve remained pretty-much the same throughout the life of the blade...

ROAD / STREET HOCKEY STICK BLADE - TAPE OR NO TAPE?

It's a plastic blade, like what they sell at Dollarama, do you think it's worth taping it? Only reason I am not sure is that it's black and I'm gonna use it on blacktop / asphalt, so any non-black or blue tape would help it to stand out somewhat. Also does anyone know if Canadian Tire still sells the white Cooper "Superblade" stick blades? Haven't been to Canada in the summertime for almost 10 years. :(
Good point Jake - on the forehand and backhand sides I guess, as I do for my ice hockey sticks?

That's what I usually do Lucas - an old aluminum stick with an ABS blade (preferably the Jofa 7000, it's the closest I could find to the old Titan's) .. this is more for nostalgia than anything
For those of you in the States it's like the Mylec blade with the air-flo holes at the top.

What I do is I tape the blade, but I don't wrap it around the bottom. Take strips of tape and apply them to the blade horazontally. It will last longer, and works better I think.
I don't think the cooper blade is still produced, but I would asume you could pick one up somewhere on Ebay, or craigslist.
Hope I helped.
