I looked at one today and it looked like an Iginla pattern blade.
You're right, it is like an Iginla but the paddle is a little taller the whole length of the blade. The pattern is a nice 1/2 curve with a closed face and moderate lie, making a terrific all-around pattern.
It's the Mission Boyes pattern that is the equivalent of the Modano/Forsberg/Zetterberg, not the Hossa.
Regardless, any pattern can do anything as long as you are comfortable with it. The only generalities are that it is best to learn the game starting with a moderate curve and lower lie (if you start as a child) so the basics of stick handling, passing and shooting can be learned properly.
Beyond that, a deep curve or loft will make it easier to shoot high, but using such patterns too early in the learning process will be at the expense of learning proper stick handling.

I only ever played with 1 piece sticks and bought this mission and love it but need to change the blade, any help would be great!
You need a heat gun to apply heat at the joint (where the blade inserts in the shaft). An open flame can burn the composite materials and ruin your stick, so stay away from ovens and blow torches. You can pick up a heat gun at any hardware store or have someone at a hockey pro shop do it for you.
Once the applied heat liquifies the glue in the joint, you should be able to simply pull the blade out fairly easily. To put the new blade in, just heat the hosel (where the glue is on the blade) and insert into the shaft.
If you do both in succession, the shaft should still be warm enough to allow for ease of blade insertion. If not, heat the shaft along with the blade before inserting.
Some blades are sold with insufficient glue on them to create a strong bond in the joint. If the new blade doesn't have enough glue on it, scrape some off the blade you are replacing.
Good luck and be careful when handling a heat gun or the hotmelt glue.
Does anybody know what blades can fit into the mission l-2 besides for the l-2 blade.
alright go to hockeymonkey.com and click replacement blades. any tapered blade will fit. but if you want a wood blade, I dont know if those come tapered, so you will just have to flip the stick over, and put a regular blade in the other end.
yes. Cut off where you would determine the blade would end on a 2 piece stick, and buy a new blade, have your local hockey store man put it in. and there you go.
Which one do you have? How long is it? What lie is the blade? How do you like it for wrist shots and how is it holding up?
I don't have a Mission Titanium, but i used to have a Mission Z-1 hex with a ribeiro blade i can't remember the lie but I couldn't shoot very well with it, it lasted for like 2 days and it broke so i got a new one on warranty. That one lasted like a week and then busted, I would definitely consider going with something other than Mission, Bauer is my favorite, i us a xxx grip with a St. louis blade , pretty sure the lie is 5 and it gives a wicked snapper. For wrist shots i would go with something easton with a sakic blade, I haven't had an easton in awhile but thats the one i used and loved for a long time. Hope this is helpful.
