Ice Hockey Goalie Skates

I dont play inline anymore, and I got these nice skates for christmas and the store wouldnt let me return them, i just wanna know if there is anyway i can make them into a ice hockey skate. thanks

sell them on ebay and buy some goalie ice skates. i would definitely talk trash about them after i scored on you.

Goalie skates have a blade that's flatter at the bottom which allows the goalie to slide across the ice easier. If he had regular skates on, the edge would possible catch when he or she was going from post to post.

I wear a size 15 shoe and can not find goalie skates in a size larger than a 13 ANYWHERE. I'm willing to spend the money if I really need to, but does anybody know any websites or anything where I can find skates in the size I need?

If you call Perani's Hockey World or visit their website to get their number they will be able to lead you in the right direction and get you on the phone with a skate company that can custom make the skate for you. I am a goalie and i trust them with all my custom gear which is everything from pads to gloves and sticks. Also if you tell them what you want they will most of the time do all the calling for you. which is helpful when your busy.

The brand is not particularly important, but, as you can imagine, it is very hard to find size 14 or 15 anythings when it come to footwear. If you know of any websites or stores in the New York Tri-State area, please let me know.

you could try www.ebay.com

or you could get a size smaller and get your local ice hockey/skating shop to "punch" them for you (they don't litterally punch the boot :P) but this process can make a boot up to 1 and 1/2 size bigger eg. a size 13 boot could be made to size 14

My buddy is getting new ice hockey skates and he is a goalie. He wants to know which is the best skates to get. I have searched on forums and stuff and came up with nothing. So i need you guys to give me or find me reviews, comparisons, etc. of all these brands of skates. I am looking for good solid information and not just a crummy review of one skate. I need to know about all of them. So can anyone give me that? Thanks a bunch!!! 10 Points to who ever has a really good answer!!!
I actually only need the reviews and stuff on the cowlings which are the plastic thing on the bottom of the skate. Sorry about that guys.

Bauer: light, quick moving never had a cowling problem.
CCM: hated them cowlings cracked heavy and un comfortable
Reebok: Like bauer but more uncomfortable
Graf: Light comfortable, bad blades
