I'm buying a new pair of hockey roller blades, and there's senior and junior blades. But what is the difference because in the junior it says it goes up to size 14 but in senior it says the same thing, so is there any other difference than size?
No difference other than size.

Other than normal roller blades are normally plasic with straps and a brake and hockey skates are usually leather with laces, what are the differences?
Most recreational/fitness inline skates (Rollerblade is only one company that makes them) are not plastic anymore. K2 created the soft boot more than 10 years ago and it has taken over from the old plastic boots.
The big difference is that hockey skates are designed to be more durable to abuse and be more maneuverable.
The leather boots are both for protection from pucks, sticks, and other skates plus a bit of tradition. It would be perfectly feasible for hockey skates to be plastic.
The lack of a brake is because it would be easy to be tripped by your own or other people's skates. It is not needed because you are not stopping from high speeds and are usually trying to change your direction and keep moving towards the next play instead of stopping.
The wheels are smaller and on a shorter wheelbase so that you can turn sharper (freestyle skates also are like this). This is the most important difference. The smaller wheels and short wheelbase sacrifice top cruising speed for this maneuverability but this isn't a problem in a hockey rink.
Many hockey skates use a hi-low wheel setup where the rear wheels are larger than the front wheels. People believe that this gives an advantage in both acceleration (from the rear wheels) and maneuverability (from the front wheels).
Many hockey skates use 688 micro bearings instead of 608 standard bearings. The claim is that they are lighter and accelerate faster. In reality, the difference in weight is minimal. Racers tried micro bearings a few years ago and they disappeared because the weight difference had no effect and they were not as durable.
Many hockey skate use 6mm axles. 6mm axles are used in the cheaper recreational skates. The better rec skates, fitness skates, and racing skates use 8mm axles because they are more durable and easier to work with.

I know obviously that inline skates have a brake on the left skate, but why is that? and what are the other differences?
Hockey blades have a stiffer boot, tied by hockey skate laces.
Inlines (call recreational or training skates) are a softer, generally more comfortable material, and are tied by either a shoe lace, or a speed lace (one pull system) and a buckle at the ankle.
Hockey blades generally have smaller wheels and a shorter frame for quicker turns and more agility.
Training skates have larger wheels and a longer frame for speed and power.
Hockey blades have either really hard wheels (for outdoor) or really soft wheels (for indoor)
Training skates never have soft wheels, and get harder as they get more expensive.
Hockey skates have no brake because it gets in the way of quick, tight turns, and you can stop without it.
Training blades have a brake to make it easier to stop.

I'm an ice hockey player but since im in the Philippines i don't get to play on the ice much but wanted to keep my train rolling on the tracks so i wanted to try off ice skating just wanted to know if there's a difference between them cause there are only Roller blades here in the philippines so please help! much appreciated!
A point of terminology first.
There are two general types of roller skates: Inline (wheels in a row) and quad (wheels in a rectangle.
Rollerblade is one of the many brands of inline skates.
The most common inline skates are rec/fitness.
Inline hockey skates are one of the less common types.
Freestyle is another type.
If your goal is to stay fit for hockey, and cannot find inline hockey skates, you might want to look for Freestyle skates or recreational skates that can be rockered so that they behave more similarly to the rocker of the ice hockey skates.
If you cannot find skates that can be rockered (wheels shifted up to mimic the curve of an ice blade), a desperation move will be to get smaller wheels for the front and rear positions but that will make a much more agressive rocker.
P.S. Scott Olson saw a pair of very old, impractical, roller skates with the wheels in one row and decided that this would be good off season practice for his ice hockey, bought the rights to the patents, and created the Rollerblade company. You are in good company
I know its a tongue twister...well i play pond hockey a lot and now is the season. i don't always remember or even feel like wiping my skates before leaving and letting them sit there until next time i skate (which isnt that long). so of course rust builds up which is never a good thing. someone last year told me something like "if you paint the blades of your skates black, it will help avoid rusting". i have a spray paint can and everything i'm ready to it mostly because i think it'll look pretty sick but:
a) Will it help against the rust?
b) Is it bad for the blades in any way?
c) Will the hockey rinks reject to sharpen them if they have a coat of paint on them?
I need urgent help on this because i plan on painting them tomorrow and getting them sharpened on monday. if i dont figure this out by tomorrow i might not have time to take care of this business until next season!! thanks in advance
to answer tj's question:
i have to walk a mile to play at the closest outdoor rink. when i'm about to leave my fingers are frozen to the extent that i literally cant even untie my skates, let alone spend a few seconds to wipe anything...
I hate to answer a question with a question, but why do you play if you aren't willing to take proper care of your equipment? Seriously, how long does it take to wipe the blades down after your done skating?

Thermablade Heated Hockey Skates Not Dead Yet | Team Hockey News
A1 microprocessor is inserted into each skate blade support. Along with an electric circuit, this transfers heat to the blade. The blade is kept at a constant temperature about 5° C).The layer of water between and the ice surface increases -- same principle as a Zamboni. This reduces friction and resistance between the skate and the ice.
