what is the procedure for putting on hockey equipment from your skates right down to the jock?

I'm new to the game, a bunch of guys from my work play once a week and I have no idea how to get dressed. I need a step by step guide from the time you get in the dressing room til you step out on to the ice. Please help

Start by taking your street clothing off other than socks(optional, some people wear them, some do not, most people I play with keep them on) and underwear(again some people wear lohnjohns some just skivies), next put on jock(new jocks look like running shorts and have velcro for the socks), shin pads (some need velcro straps around them), hockey socks over top of shin pads(strap top of socks to velcro on bottom of jock at front and back), hockey pants(some have suspenders, some have belt and strings), next put on skates, then put on shoulder pads, elbow pads, hockey jersey, mouth guard, neck guard, helmet, wrap some clear tape around the shin pads on the outside of the socks, put on your gloves, grab your stick and have fun.
I would check with a used sporting goods store such as Play It Again Sports if you need equipment and buy some good used stuff(other than jock, socks, jersey which I would buy new) and the salespeople can help you dress in the store before you get to the arena.

I need help purchasing some new Hockey Equipment. ( Skates and a Stick )?

Basically, I own a X:60 Sr. PM9, and I wanted to move down to a Intermediate. I like the lightness and quickness but the Flex is too high for me, and I'd possibly like to go to a different curve. I'm an Offense-men, I typically take Snappers and Wristers, occasionally Slap shots. And for my Skates, I have Wicked-5's. My coach recently suggested I move to Commander SE Srs. If anyone has any suggestions or question to help me further, ask me.

Well if you like the X:60 get another X:60. ask your local pro shop if you can sell it to them for an x:60 with a lighter flex.

Where Can I Find Roller Hockey Equipment. Roller Hockey With Quad Skates Not Inline Skates.?

I'm trying to start a roller hockey team and i need:goals, helmets, pads, sticks, etc. Everything I could find was for in-line roller hockey. I don't know if it's the same or not. Please help.
I want QUAD skates NOT inline.

All the equipment (other than the skates) is the same. Much of it is the same for ice.

You will need a solid rule that NO INLINE skates are allowed. Anyone wearing inline skates will have a huge speed advantage over other players, even if the other player is a better skater.
Low level beginners on quads will have a slight advantage over low level beginners on inlines but that will disappear quickly as they get some experience and will be way overshadowed by the speed difference.

  • Get the Best Hockey Equipment With These Tips » Have A Nice Road Trip

Having the right hockey equipment may not make you a great player, but it can help you to play at your full potential. It’s even more important to note that the right equipment is imperative to your safety and protection in this rough and hazardous game. That’s why it’s a good idea to choose your gear carefully and make sure everything fits well and is suited to your own style of play. Let’s look at some of the main elements you should keep in mind when selecting hockey equipment.

You’ll never buy pieces of hockey equipment that are more important than your skates. When it comes to basketball or track, your shoes are vital because they help you get from one point to the next; the same logic holds true with hockey and skates. In general, it’s a good idea to size skates one and one half sizes smaller than your shoes. While comfort is important to consider, you need to set aside a proper amount of time to break the skates in before you worry about that. In other words, avoid wearing new skates for a game until you’ve worn them for quite a few practice sessions.
