I only ever played with 1 piece sticks and bought this mission and love it but need to change the blade, any help would be great!
You need a heat gun to apply heat at the joint (where the blade inserts in the shaft). An open flame can burn the composite materials and ruin your stick, so stay away from ovens and blow torches. You can pick up a heat gun at any hardware store or have someone at a hockey pro shop do it for you.
Once the applied heat liquifies the glue in the joint, you should be able to simply pull the blade out fairly easily. To put the new blade in, just heat the hosel (where the glue is on the blade) and insert into the shaft.
If you do both in succession, the shaft should still be warm enough to allow for ease of blade insertion. If not, heat the shaft along with the blade before inserting.
Some blades are sold with insufficient glue on them to create a strong bond in the joint. If the new blade doesn't have enough glue on it, scrape some off the blade you are replacing.
Good luck and be careful when handling a heat gun or the hotmelt glue.

How hot does the resin on the blade need to be to heat up for bending?
I know I could use a blowtorch/heatgun, but I'm just curious if steam could do it too.
I also know about the procurve.
you can't steam them, you can hold them over a burner on the stove if you don't want to use a blowtorch. also, just a tip, NEVER heat up a one-piece composite stick blade, you'll weaken the hell out of them, and in some cases you'll just plain melt them away.
I have the CCM vector v10 stick. First of all, can i even replace the blade on this stick? And if I can what replacement blade do I need (i want to avoid ordering online but can if thats the only option)
It says it has a longer 24 inch taper for easy shaft loading if that helps
Stick is called CCM Vector V10 Grip OPS Hockey Stick Ovechkin Pattern
thanks
If the stick is a one-piece, then try putting a blade in the end of the stick. (At the handle). If you can fit a blade in there, then go ahead and cut the regular blade off, then tape that end up, and you have a stick.
i play i ce hockey . and i go skating ... i be on the ice 3 - 4 times a week
i have nike bauer xvi skates and they have a real small blade ..
is it true that the blade of your skate goes down everytime they get sharpened ?????????????????
It really depends on how often you get them sharpened.
You really don't want to let the steel get below 1/4" height. When the blade gets too short, you'll start washing out on turns because the holder will catch the ice. That usually happens at the 1/4" mark, depending on the holder style.
The other reason you don't want to let the steel get too low is because getting comfortable with new steel will become more of an adjustment. Pucks might slide under your stick and you might shank shots because you are suddenly higher up off the ice with twice as much steel as you had previously.
i have a 2 piece easton stick and the blade is really worn down and im gona replace but how do I get the exsisting old blade out? And am i right that your supposed to use hot glue to put the the new one in?
Use a heat gun to heat the area of the shaft that the blade goes into. This will allow the blade to easily slide out.
Then, using the heat gun, melt the hot glue onto the part of the blade that slides into the shaft. Slide the blade all the way into the shaft by pushing it in. Then let it sit for about 3 hours.
Kaizen: The Practice That Sticks
This is where the Kaizen principle comes in. By translation, Kaizen can be divided into two words: kai, which translates to the English word continuous, and zen, which translates to improvement, or congruently, to the word wisdom. Many companies have adapted this principle to improve the efficiency of their processes, and, ultimately, the over-all development of each of their employees. This results in the improvement of the entire business structure. Sony's PlayStation Portable (PSP) is a rage among gaming enthusiasts all over the world. The latest model PSP Go has added features like a sliding screen, bluetooth connectivity and is lighter than the wide screen PSP 3000. It also comes with a...
