Hello everyone I just bought a pair of ccm vector 4.0 inline hockey skates for $67 brand new is this a good deal and are these blades good you out their who have had these blades?
Thanks for your time!!!
I once had the 755 Tacks for roller hockey, the ancestor to those skates .. as long as you have the right size and use the right wheel to match the surface you're playing on, you should be fine. Yes it's a good deal. I have skated on CCM on ice for many years, but in roller I prefer Mission
Steve, owner of InlineSkates.net, explains what you need to know when shopping for Roller Hockey Skates.
My son just started playing in-line roller hockey. He said his skates hurt really bad and couldnt skate anymore they were so bad. What is the most comfortable pair of of skates that I can get him? These skates are CCM brand. He ends up putting his regular street roller blades on that has all the nice cushioning in it. Why don't hockey skates have all that nice cushioning in it?
comfort depends on the shape of your foot. try a nike bauer vapor skate, they fit a little wider, like their ice hockey boots. might be better for your son.
as for the cushioning question, padding takes away from stride power. if you are pushing off, and the padding compresses, a lot of power will go into compressing the padding, instead of being transferred to the ground. may not be as comfortable, but performs way better.
I need a pair of inline hockey skates and i cant find this kind anywhere in my size
check ebay for used.
Or try to go to sport stores like sport check

Help plaz i am looking to buy RBK 9K Pump Crimson Shadow Inline Hockey Skates. I looked around and i can only find sizeing for CCM,Bauer,Koho,Graf,Tour and Easton. I ware a size 11.5 what size do i need in the skate? Also they have D and E what does that stand for? Here is the link to see http://www.hockeygiant.com/rbk9kinlsktsr .html. Thank You for any help u can give me.
There is no accurate size conversion. There are rough guesses but an accurate conversion would require a drawing of YOUR feet.
If you buy online, ask the store for their best guess and ask what their policy is for size swaps.
The best way is to go to a local store that carries hockey gear and inline skates to have one of their people fit the skate to you. You may find that one brand is a much better fit to the shape of your feet than another.
D, E, EE, etc are foot widths. They fit wider feet as the letters go up. D is the most common width for men. Most skates don't come with width options but if those do, you have another item to guess.
I am considering buying a skate online because the particular type of skate is only sold online and their suggested sizing sounds sooo far off of anything I have seen. I am going to ask if they will ship me three sizes and I will ship two back when I find the right one. Hopefully the right one will be in that range.
Also if not missions than does anyone like tour or should i go with ccm or other.. All help is greatly appreciated
It might not be much help, but I bought a pair of Mission ICE skates and loved them immediately - they didn't need any breaking in and they just felt right on the ice. I'd feel confident trying their inline skates simply by how much I liked their ice skates.

Roller Hockey Skate Types
Most hockey players covet their skates. So, what are some good hockey skates out there? Well, we’ll start with looking at Bauer, CCM, then Reebok. One of the most popular skates out right now is the Bauer Vapor Rx20 Roller Hockey Skate . It Comes with Abec 7 Bearings. The wheels are very soft and made by Labeda. These help it grip the floor or tile. It is clearly designed for indoor roller hockey, but adjustments can be made, like chaning the wheels, to help it be more fit for street.
CCM’s vector 10 line of skates are very popular too. They are also comparable to Bauer’s RX20, but a little bit more expensive. They also come with Abec 7 micro bearings. They are also designed for indoor sport court play as they come with Rink Rat wheels. It has also been said on many websites that CCM skates tend to fit a wider foot.
