I am going to purchase a pair of CCM Vector V08 but i am not sure what size to buy. I wear a size 6.5 Nike Bauer and I was wondering if i should buy a size 6 in CCM.
CCMs run a little smaller then the Bauers but it all depends on how they feel when you try them on. I wear a size 8 shoe and a 7 CCM Tack but I could have gone with a 6.5.
Please don't buy skates without trying them on first.

I currently have the old vectors but i want to know it the new ones are good enough that i should buy them.
Unless you have wads of extra cash I dont think so.
Usually the brand new skates are over priced in my opinion.
Depends on how old your Vectors are too.
If they're from 4 yrs ago then you might really notice how much lighter the new ones are but if they're only a year old I dont see the point.

Me and my buddy have been searching up and down to try to find somewhere to buy extra long tongues for our CCM skates and haven't had any luck. I tried the internet and that returned absolutely nothing. A lot of Pro players (Ovechkin, Zetterberg) where the extra long tongues, I know its just a look thing but it's kind of a cool look. Thanks for any help you can offer.
