Roller Hockey Pants

My son is playing roller hockey this year and I'm looking at all the pants, girdles, etc. I was wondering if there are hockey pants that have the pads built into them?

I have not seen any. Most roller players if given a choice would want the girdle with separate pants anyway .

a few days ago i just bought some hockey pants and when i put tem on it fit perfect around the waist and the extra padding were the knee goes was fine but the bottom of my pants are about 2 to 3 inches above my ankle. Is this normal or are they just to short

personally I like them to go to the top of my skates - but it could also be that I am more accumstumed to ice hockey socks that don't do any lower than that. for roller hockey though (skating out) it makes a lot more sense to use the vinyl pants over your girdle and shinguards. as far as yours go it seems they will fit you perfectly, you just gotta get used to them.

I just bought some Mission Lieutenant Roller Pant Hockey Pants Black S and the dimensions read out...Approximate measurements: inseam 27", waist 41", front rise 15", back rise 17", knee 12", ankle 11".

is that enough for me??? im not big around the waste maybe a size 32-36ish in regular pants i would say

you may be medium for your height, and the waist should fit fine, at worst you might have to tighten it with the adjustable straps on the side.

I have played ice hockey for about 15 years, but want to know how wearing regular ice hockey pants would effect my playing style compared to the other players. I know it may sound like a dumb question, but being financially strapped I wanted to know if I could even get away with it for a season or two.

So you wanna use your ice hockey pants in roller hockey? I did that for years Protection is better, plus you're using a pair that you've already broken in. The padding in most roller hockey girdles is less, they tend to use lower-density foams as there's less contact in roller, more of an emphesis on speed so they tend to wear lighter gear. If you're playing on sport court an occasional fall won't impact the durability of your breezers, but an occasional fall on asphalt will cause a tear here and there.
