What does pro return mean in hockey?

I was looking online and saw a pro return stick and I was wondering is there a difference between a pro stock and pro return stick or equipment. I also heard that pro returns have defects or were broken and sent back to the manufactur.

teams and players always have a surplus of sticks/gloves/skates/helmets etc. it is usually brand new and its cheaper then retail because there's no warranty. But what you get depends on the players preferences. Also some times the company will put the latest graphics packages on older sticks so be careful when buying pro stock!

Does anyone know where to get pro stock/return hockey sticks?

i can't find anything.. their all lefties and crappy ones like v130's, synergy elite and stuff

TSR has alot of bauer. you would have to call the store. the same goes for east west hockey. i know that hockeymonkey has some prostock's but i am not sure as to if they have many left. you can also check total hockey but i think they have only leftys.

are there any places that are selling newer pro return or pro stock hockey or are the manufacturers done ?

not exactly sure what you are talking about with the manufacturers being done. You can get pro stock sticks I wouldn't recommend it but you could I believe east west hockey has the biggest selection of pro stock. Just to let you know you never know what you are getting when you get a pro stock shaft thickness varies shaft length varies curve could be totally different then there retail pattern no warranty just to name a few things. Just get a reg stick If I were you I would go with a shaft less pricey and just in case the blade breaks you van replace it.

Pro Stock hockey equipment?

IS ther a website that sells pro stock/pro return hockey helmets that only have one logo on the front and also other hockey equipment?

hockeymonkey.com or hockeygiant.com

Look for "THG" (The Hockey Group)... I just got a pair of gloves and skates in the past from hockeymonkey.com.

Also team websites sell off unused gear. Helmets might be hard to come by in any case.

Good luck!

when a hockey player gets "called up" from another team do they play and then return to there home team?

assuming the player is from a semi pro team and is called up to a pro team

Sometimes.
If an AHL player is called up to the NHL to fill a roster spot due to injury, then he will probably be sent back to the AHL once the injured player is healthy again.

Sometimes, though, AHL players stay on the NHL team, because the coach realizes that they're good

  • Panthers D McCabe to miss time with broken jaw | Tampa Bay, St ...

Sunrise, FL (Sports Network) - Florida Panthers defenseman Bryan McCabe will miss the next several weeks after breaking his jaw during Saturday's game against the Devils.

McCabe sustained the injury when he was hit in the face with a shot in the first period. The 35-year-old veteran stayed in the game, however, missing just one shift in the 3-2 victory.

"Not everyone is built like that. There's a reason he's our captain," Panthers head coach Peter DeBoer said on Monday. "Guys like that are few and far between. We appreciate his commitment to doing whatever it takes to win."

In 43 games this season, McCabe has recorded five goals and 16 assists to go with a plus-seven rating.
