Has anyone ever played for all 6 Original Six hockey teams?

I know that Brian Leetch played for 3, but that's actually all I can think of. I can't name anyone to play for more than three. Who has been on the most?

Vic Lynn played for all six from 1942 to 1954.

Bronco Horvath played for five original six teams (everyone except Detroit) as well as for Minnesota.

A pre-original sixer, Leroy Goldsworthy was a five teamer playing for NYR, Detroit, Chicago, Montreal and Boston as well as for the New York Americans.

No one. Vic Lynn and Bronco Horvath played for five in the pre-expansion era, but that's as close as anyone has come.

Y/A hockey section Original Six?

The NHL is infamous for their Original Six! Who would you choose to be the infamous Original Six of the Y/A hockey section?

I am twice the age of many of you, so let me think back far in my memory…and if I forgot you, it is not because you are unforgettable…it just means, I’m getting old.

I think Bob, Lity, Erica, jenni, Zam, Mike, amdd, Andrew (both of them), PuckDat, cme, Snoop, fugutastic (disappeared), you, cyrenaica, Zap, Dc Fury, Flames fan, Wings fan, Jeff, Canadian Bio Man, jacoby, rac, Drako, TBL, Chris, trombass, 2eighty8, hockey_gal, Lubers, Copas, No-dirt, awesome bill, Laying Low, Kimmy, Cdn24, Dave, RZ, sshueman, moose, TDK, Mr. Taco, zther, Angie, were all here BEFORE I came around.

I can’t pick just six of them…I am too nice.

I’ve been lucky enough to attend one other Detroit Red Wings/Montreal Canadiens game at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit. It was the game in November 2008 when the Habs won 3-1. While I can recall a lot of Habs fans at that game, I’m more than positive there were so many more at this one. The crowd was nearly evenly split between Habs fans and Wings fans.

If you managed to watch the game on television (and since it was on the CBC, I’m sure many Canadians caught at least a glimpse, and maybe a few people close enough to Canada to get the CBC), that place was . You could feel a buzz in the air.

My entire section was Habs fans. No joke. And they were loud. That’s not to say it was a bad thing, but when going to Red Wings games, you get used to a normal murmur of constant conversations with the intermittent “Let’s Go Red Wings” chants or applause when necessary. But with so many “out of towners,” the chatter was loud, consistent, and now there were cheers for the opposing team.
