I want to get hockey tickets for my boyfriend for the Milwaukee Admirals game but i have NO idea which seats I should pick! Is it best to be in the center or near one of the goals? please help! and thanks in advance :)
Near centre ice, about 10-20 rows up. I personally don't like sitting too close to the ice because your view is limited. About 15 rows up would be perfect. If you *have* to get tickets near one of the nets, make sure you get it where your favourite team shoots twice.

I am writing a story and my characters (a teenage boy who is 17 and a teenage girl who is 17) both play high school ice hockey. The story is set in Minnesota at a high school where the main sport is ice hockey. I need to know when it starts and how long it goes for and when it ends. I really don't know a lot about ice hockey and so any other information will be good. I've played field hockey and so know how to play and the positions if they are the same. Thanks.
Well, I'm from the Western Canada. Practices have started, and games start in early January.
I go to a school in NC and I was intrested in starting a hockey club/team. I was wondering if anyone has any advice/experience. Im sure I could round up at least 6 - 10 people. In normal hockey you need 6 people on the feild at once.
This would be roller hockey of course and I was wondering if there were any tournaments we could enter?

I started an adult beginner ice hockey team, so I can assume the process is about the same. I put out flyers, posted on local message boards and talked to everyone I knew. once I got enough people interested, I started talking to local rinks and leagues. For Ice you need 20 people (includes 2 goalies) for a team.
you can do it, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
So many of my fellow Canadians embarrass me. Its bad enough hockey is played beyond Canada and especially in the Untied States.
When you support any team or player not from Canada that's grounds for treasons!

I've seen it many times. People have told jokes or goof off. The majority of people freak out or say they're confused.
I have not seen this in other sections. It just seems people are more uptight in the hockey section.
