Our Beach House.
Just after the holidays in 1998 when I was six years old my mother, father, my sister Stephanie and I went on a holiday to our beach house for the first time.
KImberleys point of view: It was a long four hour drive and the first thing we saw was a huge one and a half metre green fence that we couldn’t even see over. We walked into a section through a tall gate to see a small section and we saw a single story dark brick house with freshly painted green window frames, we could still smell the paint. There was a big brown door that could have belonged on a castle and still look normal. On either side of the door are two gardens one on each side. The garden on the left had two strong scented red and white rose bushes and instead of dirt surrounding them it was bark pieces, the garden to the right had a small pond with four large goldfish though one was pink.
We stayed at our beach house for Christmas I remember sleeping in the big living area on Christmas eve the living area was big and had a big open fire with a black guard in front of it we wernt aloud to hand our stocking above it they had to go on the tree we woke up surrounded with presents.
Stephanie and I always use to play at the park next to the beach, the beach was only a one hundred metre walk from the beach house and if it was reining we would play with our mini air hockey toy and our dolls we got for Christmas
In 2008, 10 years later I was 16, Stephanie was 13, and my younger sister Rebecca 10 returned for the first time in 10 years because my mum and dad sold the beach house after they split up my mum brought it back when the people who brought it off us wanted to sell it.
Rebeccas’s point of view: when my mum told me we were going to the old beach house my 2 older sisters were excited they told me about there adventures there when they were younger and how it was a beautiful house and all the cool stuff there was to do there it took a few hours to get there and when we did I saw a medium height fade green fence tagged with graffiti and a sold sign. We walked through the gate it was about my height. I saw the house I was wondering why my sisters loved it so much it looked old and unloved. The house had 3 large windows all with faded and chipped green paint, the gardens were empty apart from leaves and rubbish and a little empty fish pond. There was a tall glass slider with no curtains, it looked empty and unlived, the trampoline stood in the corner looking old and rusted.
It was just after the holidays in 1998 when my mother, father, my sister Stephanie and I went on a vacation (or maybe holiday, if you're British) to our beach house for the first time. I was just six years old.
Kimberley's point of view: It was a four hour long drive. The first thing we saw when we got there was a huge, one-and-a-half metre green fence that completely hid the house. We walked through a tall gate to see a single-story, dark, brick house. It had freshly painted green window frames, so fresh we could still smell the paint. There was a big brown door that could have belonged on a castle and looked appropriate. On each side of the door was a garden. The garden on the left had two strongly-scented red and white rose bushes planted in bark dust. The garden to the right had a small pond with four large goldfish. Interestingly misnamed, as one was pink. We stayed at our beach house for Christmas. I remember falling asleep in the big living area on Christmas Eve. The living area was large. It had a big open fire with a black guard in front of it. We weren't allowed to hang our stockings above it; they had to go on the tree instead. When we woke up, we were surrounded with presents. Stephanie and I would always play at the park next to the beach, which was just a hundred metre walk from the beach house. If it was raining, we would play with the mini air hockey set and dolls we got for Christmas.

Just after the holidays in 1998 when I was a mere six years old my mother, father, my sister Stephanie and I went on a holiday to our beach house for the first time.
KImberleys point of view: It was a dreary, boring four hour drive that seemed like forever to get there and the first thing we saw was a huge one and a half metre green fence that we couldn’t even see over. We walked into a section through a tall gate to see a small section and we saw a single story dark brick house with freshly painted green window frames, we could still smell the paint. There was a huge looming brown door that could have belonged on a castle and still look normal. On either side of the door are two English cottage type gardens one on each side. The garden on the left had two strong scented red and white rose bushes and instead of dirt surrounding them it was bark pieces, the garden to the right had a small pond with four enormous goldfish, one of which was the deepish shade of pink.
We stayed at our beach house for Christmas. I remember sleeping in the big living area on Christmas eve. The living area was enormous and had a big open fire with a black guard in front of it we were not permitted to hang our stocking above it. They had to go on the tree. I was so surprised when I woke up as our presents were all piled around us. All the brightly wrapped packages were so exciting I could only squeal with joy.

We walked through the gate it was about my height. I saw the house I was wondering why my sisters had so many fond memories. The poor old house looked so unloved. All I could see was large windows all with faded and chipped green paint, the gardens were empty apart from leaves and rubbish and a little empty fish pond. There was a tall glass slider with no curtains, it looked empty and unlived, the trampoline stood in the corner looking old and rusted.
This old house looked so unloved, yet stories the walls could tell. Maybe with some love and attention and a great deal of elbow grease the house could shine in all of it's glory again.
theres like a mini shuffle board game included in a set of table games (foosball, pool, air hockey)
Wats this called and how do u play.
it has 3 blue and 3 red hockey puck slidey thingers?
Yes!
• The game is really called "Table Shuffleboard" (and other names).
• The hockey "puck" slidey thingers are really called "pucks" (etc).
In Table Shuffleboard, players push metal-and-plastic weighted pucks
down a long and smooth(!) wooden table (a board in Mini-Shuffleboard)
into a scoring area at the opposite end of the table.
Shooting is performed with the hand directly, as opposed to
Deck Shuffleboard's use of cue sticks.
After both players (or teams) are finished shooting, then add up the score
based on where the pucks finally landed on the Table Shuffleboard.
Tip: if the result of shooting your pucks is that
• you knock your opponent's pucks off the board, while
• your pucks stay on the shuffleboard in scoring position,
then that typically is going to work out in your favour.

Wow..so i met this guy at work..i get the vibe he likes me..always comes and helps me with work and says hi all the time..finally he asks me to come hang out..we hung out all day..he kicked my *** at everything...pool..air hockey...mini golf...starting to feel pretty dull because i cant seem to ever beat him at anything..lol...
But anyway...i had to go to work for 2 hours and he was like if you want to come back i'll leave the door unlocked i'll probably be sleeping...
So not sure if i should have..but i went back..and was sitting there playin with his cat since he didnt wake up then when he did he pretty much went right back to sleep...its like he was a different person when he was half asleep..but then i ended up just bein like well i am gonna go home i guess and he then made room for me on the couch to cuddle up with him and we fell asleep for 2 hours before he had to get up and go get his son when his ex called..
So he doesnt seem to be much of a text or caller...but..he comes up to me alot at work and always says hi.So I am confused about all of this..hes made jokes about me flirting with other guys...like..."u cheatin on me" and "i see you got a new bf at work..i'll leave you alone"...stuff like that..or he also said yesterday..."i cant help you at your machine all the time or people might think i like you"..Are all those things something a player kind of guy would say...even tho the last one was joking..
But today i called him and i guess he was sleeping..but i asked him if he was coming later to dinner with all of us..cause he had told me the other day he would hav to see if he has his kid..and he was sleeping..i couldnt get a response as to if he was coming or not..but everytime i said hey..he was like yeah.....I finally just was like talk to you later..
Should i even call him later...or what...i mean..he hasnt called or text much in our whole attraction thing...but he comes up to me at work alot..sometimes more than others..helps me out all the time..But outside of asking me to come hang out yesterday..he doesnt call or text much..So any guys opinions would be nice on this one...i really feel at home with him...comfortable with being me...and after a pretty emotionally abusive relationship last year....I always have that little thought in the back of my head about me ruining them...or things being too good to be true..
hmm..i guess the way i worded it all it does seem like its all me...lets put it this way....I dont ever call him or go out of my way to see him..hes the one who does everything..I dont even notice him at work until he comes up to me. What I am asking is...about the sleep thing..if he wasnt interested in me..he wouldnt have been asking me to hang out all day..I dont stalk..I am just tryin to understand the lines of dating...i have been out of the game for a while with my ex..and I am just confused as to my role..
um..i work at a massive company..him and i rarely see each other unless he goes out of his way...its not like a gas station..its a factory..its like meeting someone at school
I never slept with him...I am not like that..we just kinda were laying on the couch while he had his arms around me...we both work nightshifts and were tired.
Cool story bro.
