Look in ebay and search "mike modano" under the heading sports collectibles. I found a Mario Lemieux stick on there and it came with a certificate of authenticity. Ebay has it all, even frozen dinners from 1976!!

The hit was clean no doubt about it can’t argue that. What I do say is this, that the puck was off his stick for a full second. In the rulebook the player can’t hit the person if the puck came off the stick for a full second. It was two seconds before Richards hit Booth. Fact is he should have gotten suspended for a late hit especially one like that
Number one unwritten rule in hockey: keep your head up and watch for hits when you have the puck. Booth didn’t and got nailed with a legal check. Richards got tossed, but it really was a legal play, as evidenced by the no-fines / no-suspension.
That’s hockey. It’s sometimes brutal, but that’s why fans like it. A hit like this could have been avoided if Booth kept his head up. Maybe he’ll learn next time.
