I've never been to a hockey game before, and I'm going with a few girls from my college tonight in LA. What do people normally wear to these?
The obvious answer would be a jersey, but if you don't have a jersey try wearing as much black as you can since that is their primary color.

directly underneath the ice is a sheet of concrete covering the playing surface. Under that, there is a very high-tech refrigeration system that keeps the concrete, and thus the ice, frozen.
when the zamboni goes around, all it does is scrape off about 3 mm off the top of the ice sheet, then put down hot water which freezes and makes a clean ice surface. (The reason they use hot water is that it doesn't freeze as fast. Cold water would freeze instantly, so there would be bumbs and icicles coming up off the ice. The hot water has time to settle before it freezes.)
I have a hockey stick signed by every team member of the river kings during 1977. It is taking space and i am being forced by my wife to sell it. I know it is worth something, so does anyone know how much they sell for?

If it were the Mississippi Riverkings then you might be able to find out if someone went on to the NHL or AHL, etc. and you could sell it for a few hundred bucks. But, I'm sorry to say it, the Memphis riverkings team isn't as known so you could only likely sell it for 50-75 bucks top price.

Imagine the entire song being sang by what looked like 50 but sounded akin to 1,000 Kings’ fans at last night’s game. That was section 330 and I loved it! In addition to the Briggs’ catchy tune, the hooligans of 330 cheered various “L.A” chants, melodies and the occasional anti-Oilers sentiment. They were loud…man, were they loud! Their voices filled the arena and their enthusiasm was contagious. It produced one of the best crowds I have seen at Staples and a playoff atmosphere.
I have nothing but love for each of you.

OK, now I get it.
I heard those chants, but being across the arena from 330, I couldn’t understand what the hell they were singing. I assumed it was some bogus Canadian hymn because it sounded like a garbled mess. I just watched the video on KingsVision of this group sing-a-long, and it still sounds like a garbled mess.
