Itech Hockey

I am a quite good hockey player, and have started playing, and i need a hockey helmet with a full face mask. I like the design of the helmets with clear face masks. I am looking at a mission helmet with an itech concept II face mask, is that good? Will it scratch if it is dropped or hit?

Yeah they always do no matter what brands they are, they are beauty until they get scratched and then you're always just like, FACK i wish i would of stayed with my cage. Dude just get a cage with a grey interior it kind of makes a difference about visibility. if your's isnt broken then don't bother its not worth it but if your lookin gfor a new one then yeah its worth it.

Does anyone have any positive or negative comments about the Itech clear hockey shields (full face, not just covering the eyes)? I'm looking at the Concept II, as well as the X200

I had a Combo Deluxe in high school and it fogged up all the time. In all leagues I have played in since that require facial protection I recommend a full cage, it doesn't fog up, it's lighter, and provides better impact protection.

I'm new to hockey, so I don't know about this sizing stuff. If I'm getting Itech RPM 2500 hockey skates, and my shoe size is 7, what size should I get? And whats the difference between D width and EE width?

D is normal width and EE is wide. You really should get fit since skates vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. It used to be that you bough 1 size smaller than your shoe in the US because of Canadian skate manufactures. However, some skate manufacturer will now recommend you buy your shoe size. I'd go to your local pro shop and have them measure you. If they are good, they don't care if you buy the skates there or not.

So Im in a league that plays 4 times a week, and i need pads to last just two seasons. I take good care of my equipment and i know neither of the pads above are that great of pads.m I need pads fast, preferebly butterfly pads, and with shipping they need to come to less then 280. A lot of pads don't come in the 33 inch size I need. I have tried to find reebok 6k's but I can't for the right size / price. Which would you reccomend if the itech 4.8 x wings or the RBK x pulse?, or maybe theres a better pad for the same price?

I'm not a fan of Itech, and although i have yet to use RBK I've heard nothing but good things. I personally use Simmons 994's and i absolutely love them and i highly recommend them. They are very inexpensive, especially for the quality of pad you are getting. They are equal to or better than the RBK 6's for a much lower price. Not all masks fit all helmets.

Several online stores have fit guides as to "will this mask fit?" and will list masks and what helmet(s) they do and don't fit.
