Looking for a website that carrys some inline hockey gear that isnt so expensive. All the places around me carry alot of ice stuff but its a little to expensive. If anyone knows of any good websites or suggestions feel free to add thanks.

if you are going for sporting good site, they are about the same. i recomend Modells or Dick's.

however you can go to amazon to mix and match equipments.

try local sporting good sports, i got my gloves, pads and blockers for 90 bucks "nike bauer" but the pad wear out on me (maybe because i play on cement school yards or they just cheap)

Hockey gear I need for roller hockey?

I've already bought some stuff, and i'll just list them. Let me know what else I should/need to buy. Thanks.

Composite Stick
skates
gloves
elbow pads
shin pads and tape
hockey pants
inline pant girdle
upper padded shirt
helmet w/ cage

do i need a jock short? anything else?

You need to wear (well, you "should" wear) a protective cup. You can wear the jock short type (just leave the velcro tabs closed), or wear a standalone cup.

The other option is the compression short/cup route; Under Armour makes a great hockey-specific one.

Not sure about the compositite stick; you can probably just use a fibreglass/wood stick (more durable).

For pants- I'd just get the roller hockey "cooperall" type. Much more functional.

I'd also consider a mouthguard. While full facial protection from a cage is great, it does not protect your teeth from a jarring hit.

I'm assuming your team has a set of jerseys. Regular ice hockey jerseys work fine (I played inline a few summers ago; we just bought solid colour blanks and got numbers).

Goalie gear...will this work?

Hey there. Im getting ready to start a new hockey league and I was in need of some new gear. I am playing inline roller hockey and It will be played indoor floor. Court type real smooth surface. I was just checking out some gear and needed to know if it would work for me. Also I don't need anything flashy and im trying to keep the cost down as this league is mainly for fun. Thanks

Sorry might of forgot to add. Ive played goalie before and still do. Its just time to update the gear. Thanks for pointing out the blocker must of missed that.

gear is good as long as it's just for roller hockey. You'll need a goalie cup, and some goalie pants, don't think you can get by on forward gear you'll just get injured. A helmet might also come in handy.

Quick ways to make money?

I am joining the inline hockey team next month and gear is really expensive. Is there any way to make money fast?

Ebay/Craigslist if you have items to sell. You could also check out the online jobs thing but allot of those are scams.

  • Choosing Your Inline Hockey Skates - Sports Betting Made Simple

When you’re purchasing a pair of inline hockey skates its very important that they fit comfortably. Its best if they fit a bit snug but not to the point of being uncomfortable.

normally skate companies style their hockey skates to run 1-1.5 size smaller then your standard shoe size. If you Commonly wear a size 9 shoe then you would buy a size 7.5-8 inline hockey skate.

Itsvital to constantly look at the wheels and bearings on the hockey skates that you want to obtain. The measurement of the wheels can make a big difference in your play. There are different colors, shapes, and sizes to choose from. If youre playing inside then softer wheels will be better then harder ones that are for outside playing areas.
