How can you make homemade inline hockey equipment?

E.g. the puck, the stick, the pads, the goals, etc. Not the skates.

Why are your trying to make your own material? It's not that expensive, buy instead.
Puck: You can find pucks for about 3-4$ at your local sports store.
Stick: About 10$ plastic stick / 15-25 wood sticks (the cheapest)
Pads: Used equipment store
Goalie pads: These are a lil bit expensive, there cheapest are about 40-50$ or your could buy used ones
Net: Trash can lol? Wood panels or metal sticks but you'll have to buy the covering of the net anyway.

inline hockey equipment?

what do you need for inline hockey equipment

I used the same set-up as I did for ice, except the skates were different obviously so:

Helmet / Face shield
Neck guard
Shoulder pads
Elbow pads
Slash guards
Gloves
Cup / Supporter
Breezers
Shinguards
Stick (for roller though I usually use white tape)

Will Ice Hockey equipment get SHREDDED on inline surface?

I'm thinking of picking up some ice hockey goalie equipment (blocker and glove) and was wondering if they would get worn quicker than inline goalie equipment on a surface similar to a tennis court...
Thanks Tex,
It's 2x smoother than asphalt...

the ice hockey stuff i want to get is used NHL gear for about $60 a piece, so I was thinking why not get that instead of brand new inline hockey gear?

If it's sport court, you should be ok; if it's painted concrete, get roller-specific.
You more than likely won't be needing ice-calibre gear playing off-ice anyway.

If you want, post a link to the gear - something else 4u to consider is ice gear

can i wear normal ice hockey pants?

You will need:
a helmet
a mouth piece
elbow pads
gloves
a cup
inline hockey pants
shin pads
and skates
If you don't already have skates then I would suggest to you getting a pair of Missions or Tours.

  • Hockey Equipment – Skates and Helmets | Halifax Ball

When I was about 11, I started playing hockey. Now, I played foot hockey in the street, but it soon progressed into roller hockey. The reason I chose to play roller hockey, was because it was more fast paced and fun than playing on foot. It also took less out of you, because the skate wheels would allow you to coast and still move without exerting any energy. I quickly learned that skates were a huge factor in becoming a better hockey player in inline hockey.

While my first pair of skates and helmet were not up to the best standards, they did the job they had to do. Since I was learning, I wasn’t exactly tearing up the hockey courts. The skates were endorsed by a major star athlete. That doesn’t mean the quality was good, it was not. The bearings were the lowest you could get and they rattled when skating. The rattling and shaking of the wheels made my skate sessions bumpy and not very smooth. The fabric on the boot was cheap and eventually tore. I was lucky though, because the boot separated from the frame of the skate at the end of a game. I should also mention that the frames were plastic and started to crack. They weren’t very strong. These skates were a mess and helped me realize what type of skates I would need to raise my level of play in the sport of hockey.
