Ice Hockey Goalie Gear

I am a goalie mom and my son is pulling my hair wanting me to buy a new car and I found one that I can afford and he likes it. His bag is 3 to 3.5 feet long and 1.5 to 2 feet wide if it helps.

I got my wife an LS, I think you won't have a problem. I would check and take the gear bag to the dealer just to be sure, if I was concerned.

Is there any difference between roller/street hockey goalie gear and ice hockey goalie gear? If so...what is the difference?
i havent actually bought any pads yet. Looking to start playing goalie in a beginner league. I am currently skating in that league now, but i am going up to the next level soon.

Padding, Materials, Protection .. some high-end ROLLER gear you MIGHT be able to use in entry-level ice, but even that's "pushing it". What gear do you have, so I can tell you what you can and what you can't use on frozen water.

Look, Fire Crotch, you need to stop at your local library and get a proper education. I don't know where you could find the least expensive goalie gear, but you probably won't need any anyhow. People will be laughing too hard at your freckles and pale skin to hit the puck anywhere near you.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR A GOALIE IN ICE HOCKEY TO PUT HIS GEAR ON ?

i allow myself 30 minutes.normally it takes 15 at a steady pace.10 if i'm running late.but i like to allow for repair.you can break a skate lace a strap or a belt,all which require extensive time to fix if you break them.i also try to stretch a bit.also liek the one guy said you shoot the bull while getting dressed.

I'm playing roller hockey this year and I'm trying out for goalie, we have to buy gear. Is there a difference between the two?

protection + weight mostly, a roller hockey one can only safely handle the impact from a street/roller hockey ball or puck which is significantly lighter than a ice hockey puck
