Hockey Warehouse

I use some gear from 1993, but at my level of play its starting to slow me down. Anyone know of some online hockey stores that have good clearnce sections? I need a stick in particular, im still using an aluminum easton, and its gonna be illegal soon.

I've tried hockey giant, Inline warehouse, and hockey monkey.

You're not alone.
I still use Cooperall breezers from that era, ditto an Easton HXC 6000 aluminum stick and even CCM 650 Super Tacks skates

Another option is your local rink(s) as there are bound to be people (like me) who don't want to bother with selling on ebay and would rather sell locally. (Craig's List works for local buying+selling as well) www.craigslist.org then go to whatever cities are near you and put hockey in the for sale / wanted search query.

I am serious. My team is the Mets. And they are having just an atrocious year. When you know your team is not going to make the playoffs, you begin to remember that baseball can get mighty slow and boring sometimes. I mean compared to soccer, football, basketball, hockey, etc. Yes, it is a very unique sport and very American and pastoral, and beautiful and symmetrical, and all that.

But I'd rather watch a close golf match than a 2-1 pitchers' duel between 2 teams that I really don't care about. Any day of the week, believe me!

Therefore--we need to make baseball more interesting. And I have a whole warehouse full of creative proposals. But--we can focus on one proposal at a time, and tonight I want to suggest that in Major League Baseball, if a baserunner gets caught stealing a base, he would have to go sit in a separate box next to his dugout--just like a penalty box in hockey. I mean, really--the guy has tried to steal a base!! He has committed a crime and the American way of justice says that he has to do time in the pen!! In solitary confinement! Fans could razz and jeer the "criminal" so he would feel like he is in the stocks in the public square, like in Colonial Times. But what would be cool is--the only way he can be freed to return to the game would be if a guy on the opposing team tries to steal a base and gets caught. That would be cool. But until that happens, the first base stealer must stay in jail. Or three innings--whichever comes first. A sub would come in to replace the guy as long as he's in jail.

HERE'S THE SHORT VERSION, PEOPLE!! YOO HOO, RIGHT HERE FOR YOU NON-READERS..............................If a guy gets caught stealing, throw him in jail (like hockey's penalty box) for 2 or 3 innings. This would make stealing a base much more risky (and daring, and EXCITING!!!)

I have a son who has had ADHD since he was very young. He was on medication until he was 18, after which time he refused to continue taking it. He also has a history of exertional asthma, although he has never been prescribed any meds, and he only gets SOB at times when playing sports, such as ice hockey.
My son is now 21. Since graduating from high school he has gone to a vocational school 2 times and dropped out both times without completing either program. He has had at least 10 other jobs which he can only keep for a few months. The jobs seem too hard for him if they are productvity related, ie get this pallet together in a warehouse and wrapped within a limited timeperiod.
He has expressed an interest in joining the navy or airforce to try and get a fresh start to his life. Given his medical history of ADHD and asthma is there any way he could get in?

It's possible though unlikely. If he actually gets asthmatic they won't take him. That combined with the history of ADHD medication, like I said, it's possible, he can talk to a recruiter, just be honest with the recruiter.
