Hockey Training?
under a roof of light

What is better for training in hockey. I either run or bike everyday, but i was wondering which one helps more and is better for hockey training? I bike up many hills, and run up only one when i go normally. I am basically wondering which one will make my legs stronger and make me faster on the ice.

Anything Cardio is great for hockey training but I would place more time to skating for training purposes.

Hockey training?
space for training, room to improve

I am 15 years old and i am looking for hockey training that i can do in my driveway. I have a shooting board, net, and tape to tape passer thing, so i was wondering what i could do with those ( besides the obvious) and other ways to train my core besides the usual push-ups and sit-ups. Also, i run and bike everyday, and i am looking for fun, yet productive ways to train this sumer other than the clinics i am doing. Thanks to anyone who helps.

wall sits and squats to develop explosive speed... work on your stick handling and shoot a couple hundred pucks a day... try to pick a spot and get accurate... work on forehand shots like your wrister, snap shot, and slapper and also dont neglect your backhand as it can be a very nice tool in your arsenal

Why does my groin always hurt halfway through hockey training and how do I stop it?
FDNY Fire Academy 9/11 Jersey, Randalls Island, New York City

I'm 15 years old and I play field hockey once a week. After playing for about 45 minutes it starts hurting and it renders me unable to run as fast. The pain is completely gone by the time next weeks training comes and it always returns. I've noticed it's always been my right groin.

Possibly go see a doctor. Sometimes, just drinking gatorade or icing it may work. Because it returns every time, I would go see a doctor because it could be something serious. You could try to stech it out or massage it also.

What is the BEST hockey training camp in the world?
LA Kings Training & Autogrammstunde (03.10.11)

What is the best, most well known hockey training camp that attracts the most scouts? Or at least one of the best? Can be absolutely anywhere in the world, but I've heard Canada has the best ones.
Thank-you :)
