Hockey Skate Laces

I have seen a lot of hockey players wear bracelets out of hockey laces. How do I make one?

First, place the lace around your wrist and then cut it so it is loose but won't come off that easy. Then, with a candle or fireplace burn the ends together. You can also twist two different laces and then burn the ends together, also.

I recently changed my converse style shoes laces to white hockey laces. I thought it looked pretty nice, since it had my two passions in one, rock and hockey.

I wanted to know that was opinion other hockey fans had on that kind of laces in shoes? What about in hoodies?

I think it's up to you! By the sound of it though, that's pretty freaking awesome. :)

ok well i was wondering which type of laces I should get...I heard that waxed are better, but they can be too tight on your feet and uncomfortable... but the unwaxed skates can stretch and can hurt your hands when your tying them.....any suggestions??? BTW I am 14 y.a., have been playing for 61/2 years, and I have the Nike Bauer one95 skate

Waxed is preferred by most, It helps tighten your skates. When you pull them tight and let it go, it doesn't loosen as easily as unwaxed skates helping you have a tighter feel.

You can also get the hook, it helps you tighten your laces without hurting your fingers.

Edit Sorry I thought i put a website, thats what the hook looks like, instead of sticking your fingers in your tighten laces just use the hook to tighten it, It works no worries and it is cheap. The have it at most hockey stores

They are all different in size and strength. Figure skating laces are very thin, and hockey skate laces are very thick will a little wax feel to them to strengthen their hold and won't wear down as easily. Shoelaces used on skates will wear down much quicker.

I need to find some but all I can find is shoe laces. Skate laces are much longer so shoe laces won't work. Can anyone help me out?
