Whats is the difference between Junior and Senior hockey roller blades/skates?

I'm buying a new pair of hockey roller blades, and there's senior and junior blades. But what is the difference because in the junior it says it goes up to size 14 but in senior it says the same thing, so is there any other difference than size?

No difference other than size.

Can I put Ice hockey Blades/ Holder on a Pair of Hockey Roller Blades?

I have a pair of Nike Bauer XXII's that my friend lent me there kinda small, my toes are curling at the end. So, I thought I have a pair of Mission 500 roller blades or something, so do you guys think I can take off the wheels and put on the blade?
Thank you.

I'm not really 100% postivie man but I do believe that there's not place to but the blade holder in the socket where the wheels used to be but correct me if I'm wrong anybody! I have a pair of rollerblades and my uncle (hockey expert) probably wouldn't have bought me a new pair of skates if i could do that. Sorry sbout that.

Whats the difference between inline skates and hockey roller blades?

I know obviously that inline skates have a brake on the left skate, but why is that? and what are the other differences?

Hockey blades have a stiffer boot, tied by hockey skate laces.
Inlines (call recreational or training skates) are a softer, generally more comfortable material, and are tied by either a shoe lace, or a speed lace (one pull system) and a buckle at the ankle.

Hockey blades generally have smaller wheels and a shorter frame for quicker turns and more agility.
Training skates have larger wheels and a longer frame for speed and power.

Hockey blades have either really hard wheels (for outdoor) or really soft wheels (for indoor)
Training skates never have soft wheels, and get harder as they get more expensive.

Hockey skates have no brake because it gets in the way of quick, tight turns, and you can stop without it.
Training blades have a brake to make it easier to stop.

where can i buy hockey roller blades?

Oh no worries man I'm up in Saratoga Springs (about 20 minutes from Albany) there's a Dick's sports store here I know for a fact can help you out. Otherwise most sports stores should be able to help you out. Not great weather for roller hockey though....

  • 1-17-11: Professional Roller Hockey

The game was certainly different than what I’m used to from ice hockey. Besides being played using roller blades (and no ice), roller hockey is 4 on 4, with no off-sides or icing, and no hitting. I could see why: the limited ability for players to stop and turn suddenly would make playing on-side hockey quite dangerous (players would either constantly run into each other or would destroy their knees trying to stop suddenly to stay on-sides). Without those rules in place, the flow felt a bit more like basketball than ice hockey. The other major difference was that, instead of playing three periods, the teams played two 15 minute halves with a short intermission in between. The equipment...
