What do hockey players say to each other during a fight or scrum?

You can always see hockey player's mouths moving when the refs are holding them back, but what exactly do hockey players smack talk about when teams get into a scrum? Do they brag about who's winning or make fun of a bad play the other player had or talk about their mothers? Just wondering thanks

They are professionals for the most part. The emotional fights have some statements about each the mom's but here is a somewhat older one from George Laraque. Very funny. Make sure you sound is up as the 45 second mark.

What do most professional hockey players eat before a game?

Food. I know that. Do they have a set kind of food they eat to keep stamina up or is a personal choice? Runners eat pasta, what do hockey players eat? This way out of my realm of thinking.

Extra Inquiry: Who thinks we should get Mike Rowe on the ice to be a practice goalie?

I hear lots of them eat pasta. In the playoffs during a long overtime, they order pizza and bananas - really high carb and fat to keep them going, I guess. It's weird, I just can't imagine working out so hard you actually need pizza!

Y'meen Dirty Mike Rowe? Could be a sweaty job, not that dirty! Still, hockey and Mike would be a nice combination - about the only two shows I watch combined.

Hockey players........................?

Is working ur back for hockey really necessary?

Is REALLY strict form with lower weight better then just kinda strict form with higher weight but u still have okay form?

In hockey, basically everything should be worked out so you can be in optimal physical shape. I don't really understand the bottom half to your question, but you should work everything out. Arms, legs, abs. Which means you should do some cardio each day, along with some weight training and aerobics.
Works for me, it should work for you.

  • Willie O'Ree Opened Doors for Black Hockey Players 52 Years Ago ...

The Boston Bruins have a storied history. Most New Englanders know about the bitterly fierce games against the Canadiens, about Bobby Orr , Cam Neely and even Johnny Bucyk .

What many fans don't know is that the first black hockey player in NHL history played for the Bruins .

Willie O'Ree , a native of New Brunswick, didn't enjoy the major league success that Jackie Robinson did in baseball, mostly due to only having the use of one eye, but it didn’t stop him from achieving his dream to play professional hockey in a league that didn't want him.

    It was this injury...
