My daughter is interested in learning to play hockey but we can't find any lessons or private coaches in the Utah area. If anyone knows of anything we would love to know! Thanks.
My best advice is for you to look at some programs that are running clinics during the summer. Take your daughter to some of them and talk to people at the rink, to other parents, to the programs being offered. Without knowing where you live or your daughter's skating ability and age, I can't be of more help. Sometimes boys teams will also accept girls - for in house or those girls who are really good.

I want to learn how to play hockey and I think it would be best to take lessons.(preference in Queens,Brooklyn, or Manhattan)
Ice Hockey lessons are not cheap, you can expect to pay $150-$250 for classes. The best places in the area are Chelsea Piers in Manhattan and Aviator Sports in Brooklyn. Two new rinks are supposed to open in Queens within the next 2 years, once they are done they might offer cheaper alternatives
I'm an accomplished skater, but sadly, can't do the hockey stop. I'm 23, I'd love to learn, and eventually join a pick-up league.

Sunny, again try the ESA Hockey Ice Skating Rink in Montville, NJ, I think it's in Morris County though. I haven't been back there for awhile so I am not sure what County Montville is in, nice rink though.
