Hockey Goalie Gear

I'm working with a goalie coach and I looked up gear it's expensive what should and could I do?

go to a second chance sports place and buy some used pads and blocker and trapper and just buy urself a new stick and chest protector and that stuff. Look in ur local paper sometimes in there

Is there any difference between roller/street hockey goalie gear and ice hockey goalie gear? If so...what is the difference?
i havent actually bought any pads yet. Looking to start playing goalie in a beginner league. I am currently skating in that league now, but i am going up to the next level soon.

Padding, Materials, Protection .. some high-end ROLLER gear you MIGHT be able to use in entry-level ice, but even that's "pushing it". What gear do you have, so I can tell you what you can and what you can't use on frozen water.

ive been playing street hockey now for a while as a goalie and my equipment, kinda smells ahah

how can i wash it and not ruin the material?!

fill your bathtub with water and put about a cup of bleach for every gallon of water. your gear will probably float, so submerge it and put something on top of it. after 2 or 3 hours, take it out and set it on towels to air dry. the gear will be clean and free of odor-causing bacteria.

I am a goalie mom and my son is pulling my hair wanting me to buy a new car and I found one that I can afford and he likes it. His bag is 3 to 3.5 feet long and 1.5 to 2 feet wide if it helps.

I got my wife an LS, I think you won't have a problem. I would check and take the gear bag to the dealer just to be sure, if I was concerned.

im practicing for goalie at fh and i got blisters on my loweer legs and i dont know why :[

Hey. I am also a field hockey goalie, and have expierenced the same problems. It is either the straps on the back of the shin gaurds, or the top of the boots rubbing your legs. If I had to guess it's probley the boots.

P.S. Why don't you know how you got them? You know where the equipment rubs! Thats where you get blisters!
