Where can I shop for hockey equipment in Niagara Falls?

I live in Niagara Falls NY and I need to buy some new hockey equipment. I know theres Dicks Sporting Goods, Great Skate, and some pro shops here and there. Any other stores that I'm not aware of? I don't think it would cheaper to shop in Canada just because of the exchange rate.

I was going to say Great Skate..I know there's a place on Niagara Falls Blvd called Sports Replay, but the idea of used hockey stuff skeeves me out Lol. There's another place Front Row somethin somethin...hang on...Front Row Sports on Amherst Manor in Williamsville, you may wanna check them out.

Selling and shipping used hockey equipment?

I heard about an organization that can take your used hockey equipment and they ship it to northern Canada, I'm not sure if they actually exist but maybe you've heard of them.

Thanks for the help :)

The NHLPA set up the Goals and Dream fund to help minor hockey players afford equipment. www.nhlpa.com
They have sent full gear to players from many countries.

Oshawa MPP Jerry Ouellette sent 50 sets of hockey gear up north a couple years ago and I believe still runs a project.

where is the best place to buy hockey equipment?

where is the best place to buy hockey equipment online? Wheres a place that has really low prices, cheap shipping to canada, and great service?

also if you guys know any good stores around the vancouver b.c area, that would be great!

thanks

hockeygiant.com
This is the best online store I've ever shopped at. They have special sales all the time. I bought a pair of Ice Skate that were $299, marked down to $49. And they do this with all their equipment too; gloves, sticks, helmets, bags, all sorts of great stuff.

hockeymonkey.com is good too but I found that hockeygiant.com is better to me.

  • Hockey equipment developed by LSSU and Gaylord inventor picked up ...

McClelland’s product was given a boost by LSSU’s relatively new PDC, which offers its engineering resources and expertise to any small-to-mid-sized manufacturer that wants to develop and bring new products to market. It puts manufacturing methods, mechanical services, materials testing, electronics, computers and robotics at the company’s disposal so it may create functional prototypes of any product.

Before McClelland’s project came to the PDC, several prototype sets were made and distributed for testing. The original design was prototyped using a thermal molding process that heated sheet plastic until it melted and formed around a mold. Unfortunately, the process gave inconsistent results and lacked the aesthetic quality required of a commercial product.
