I'm looking for some hockey games from the 50's to recent times. I've checked ebay and hdhockey but I've been unable to find anything. Would nhl.com, tsn.com, the team sites have anything? Is there any other way to find these games?
Actual full-lnegth games. Only "official' releases that have that are the NYR's 1994 Cup run DVD and the Ultimate Gretzky DVD re-release whcih ahs 5 games on it. Unofficially, do a search on Yahoo. I traded with some doofus called Adam Mintz who lives in MA. He's OK but anally retentive. I have loads of games on video that I have yet to convert. Best bet is off the map sort of. Forget ebay, etc. and look on web for guy who sell or swap DVDs.
NHL is clueless when it comes to marketing. CBC in Canada actually erased many of their master tapes which is why so few games from the glory era of the NHL survive.

I've tried other computers, and they don't recognize it either. I made sure it properly recorded, because the DVD recorder I used has no problem playing it on my tv. The disc is brand new and unscratched, so that's not it either. It's a DVD+R disc. Anyone know what the problem is?
Your computer cannot read the disk directly, try puttting the dvd in the computers cd drive

That game wasn't included on the box set because it wasn't a gold medal game.

If you are referring to the CTV Olympic 5 DVD set, they have the complete Gold medal games for the men and women and highlights of the other games
