What is the music played on Versus' Hockey Central when they come back from a commercial?

Not sure how to describe it, but its a guitar riff - But yeah. Help!
Nope, not a Metallica cover

It was a cover of the song 'One' by Metallica I believe.

Hockey Central

Kypreos and Watters go at it

Is the banter between Versus broadcasters and "hockey central" too much?

These guys go back and forth with jokes all night long. They almost have too much fun. I don't find it very professional.

dude someday you will hate you co workers and wish u got along like they do. then while u stand there thinking about it and remembering this some one will awake you from the daydream to say they wanted a diet coke no reg coke with that supersized meal. this will then start you off on how.....

Who thinks that there should be two referees officiating games in the Central Hockey League?

There is only one referee at each game in the CHL. In my opinion, the CHL has probably the worst refs that I have ever seen. Not only do they miss many calls, but they also make "questionable" ones to say the least. I think that the CHL should have two refs officiating each game. What's your opinion?

JACKALOPES ARE THE BEST!

I agree, I watch a lot of Junior A and Junior C games and they both use the same system (1 ref, 2 linesmen) and I think this is terrible. There are a lot of blown calls to say the least. If a Junior C league is way better off with 2 referees, then the CHL should be a given to have that type of system. I am not sure on this, but didn't the CHL use 2 referees for playoffs last season (particularly the OHL)?

Where does the Central Hockey League rank?

As far as skill level/rank, where is it in comparison to the NHL and AHL. Also, how does it compare to Junior and division 1 college?

It is below the NHL and the AHL, but it is ahead of the NCAA and Canadian Hockey League (Tier 1 Junior A)

Here is a rough idea how they rank

1. National Hockey League
2. Swedish Elite League, Finnish National League
3. American Hockey League, Other European Leagues
4.
5. Central Hockey League
6. East Coast Hockey League
7.
8.
9. National Collegiate Athletic Association
9.5 Canadian Hockey league

what is a central hockey leagues rink size?

Is a NHL rink bigger than a CHL?

They use the same size rink as the NHL.

  • Sabres- What will it take? | Sabres Hockey Central

A start with the look at the numbers in the Eastern Conference will paint a desperate picture. The Sabres are just past the halfway point with a total of 43 points in 44 games. That leaves them trending to a total of 85 points. The average point total of an 8th place playoff team the last several years is 97 points. Leaving the Sabres well off the mark.

Buffalo currently sits just under .500 with 19 wins and 20 losses. The team sitting in 9th is currently Carolina. They sport a .567 winning percentage in the same number of games. This is a considerable lead given the progress of the season so far.

In the past several seasons an average winning percentage of .555 or higher was required to make the playoffs. (for the purposes of these statistics OTL have been disregarded)
