What do you like better at a hockey game, pep band or piped in music?

Do you like mainstream rock/heavy metal blasting through the speakers at a hockey game or do you like high school and college games with a pep band?

Me personally, I don't think you can beat a good pep band:

Definatly pep bands get the crowd more into it....

If hockey was similar to the music scene, which band would best describe your favorite team?

While comparing hockey with most other sports is easy, what about comparing it to a similar entertainment venue, such as music? If your team was a music group, which one would it be and why?

Example- The Vancouver Canucks and the Commodores. While they are great as a whole, both have that one member who stands out as the most talented (Lionel Richie and Roberto Luongo).

I would compare the Red Wings to AC/DC, not only is AC/DC my favorite band, but in 1980 there was a major change in the face of the band after the death of Bon Scott, and the addition of Brian Johnson, but the band prevailed and stayed strong. The core of the band was still there though.

Now to compare that to the Red Wings....After Steve Yzerman, Shanahan, McCarty, and others left, the face of the team was significantly different, there was still the core of the team intact, but after the changing of guard in the Motor City, the team prevailed diminishing any speculation of a down fall. The same way AC/DC did with Brian Johnson, many thought the band would be no more......Well, you and I'm sure everyone else has heard of the album Back in Black (maybe Chris hasn't lol j/k) Brian Johnson's 1st with the band, and the 5th best selling rock album of all time (behind the likes of the Stones, the Beatles, Pink Floyd, and Zeppelin)......the Wings 1st in the league by quite a margin, that is prevailing, and that is my comparison.

*Looks like I was a little late ^^^^

**Oh, and AC/DC is from Australia, and half of the Wings are from Europe.
