Where can I build a virtual hockey arena?

I want to build a hockey arena and a pavillion onto the side of that. Do you know of a website that i could do that on?

You can find it here http://www.hockeyzone.page.tl/

Goodbye, Lokomotiv! Video of heartbreaking farewell ceremony on ice

A heart-stirring requiem mass has taken place at the Minsk ice hockey arena, where this evening local side Dynamo were supposed to take on ...

If you could build your dream hockey arena, what all would you include?

I'm talking unlimited budget but don't go crazy. It needs to be an actual hockey arena that would still support fans.

I would use the technology in place in Europe and Asia...have an adjacent facility with multiple ice sheets that can be rotated in and out. This would allow for the ice to remain uncovered if the arena is being used for other uses (ideally attached to a practice facility); and/or used as a rental facility/profit centre.

If you had three "pods" rotating (think a triangle that you move in a clockwise direction); two with ice sheets and the third empty, you'd never have to cover the ice, and transitioning from one event to another would be much quicker and avoid issues in ice quality.

the boards at the joe are old on the end boards infact they are thr origanal boards from when the rink first opened plus the glass has stantions so there are no springs going througs the boards makeing them much more jello like

What are the best seats at a hockey arena?

I know nothing about hockey and I'm planning on taking my boyfriend to a hockey game for part of his Valentine's Day present. I was about to buy the tickets online, I realized I have no clue what seats to buy.

It looks like the top would give the best view, probably at one of the ends. But I'm inexperienced, so, asking someone who DOES know which seats to get...

So, what should I get?

Lower bowl are the most expensive, asides from luxury boxes of course, with prices going down as the levels go up.

The height really isn't too important, the most important thing to get if you can is the middle/center ice area if possible. On the side of the players benches is a plus too but not necessary.

If you can't get the middle, try and get the end where the home team will be shooting twice (periods 1 & 3)

  • Quebec City writes off federal money for new hockey arena | iPolitics

QUEBEC – Quebec City’s mayor has given up on receiving a significant investment from the federal government in an NHL-calibre hockey arena and is going ahead with a backup plan.

Regis Labeaume told city council Monday night he has written off any short- term federal financing for the arena.

“It’s time to move on to Plan B. It’s clear. I’m not waiting on the federal (government). They are no longer there,” Labeaume said.

He declined to give details on the so-called plan B, but has said the city could increase its financial contribution to the project.

The mayor said he’s tried in vain to convince the Conservatives to foot part of...
