Detroit Red Wings Hockey

Do they do that at all Red Wings games? Who throws the octopus?

It goes back to the fact that Detroit was one of the original 6 teams and back then you only needed 8 wins to get the cup. Each tentacle on the octupus represents one win and over the years Al the Octopus just became a mascot for the Detroit Red Wings.

i dont understand that im a red wings fan and in the nba coming out of detroit as well they have the pistons coming out the eastern conference how is the red wings not in the easten detroit michigan is more easten than west(red wings still a good team though)

They are more teams in the East than in the West. The NHL got the two (Blue Jackets and Red Wings) most western teams and put them in the West.

Detrit wins its the better team won but when its a loss its the refs or Gary Bettman's fault.

Its ok for their fans to ask like @ssholes in visiting teams arenas but not ok if others act like @ssholes towards them.
