Is the CCM brand and hockey equipment going to disappear?

Reebok International Ltd, its right now the new owner of CCM, JOFA and KOHO, if you see right now the top notch models in skates for example CCM PRO and RBK 9 are very look alike, the logic way its to fusion all the brands into Reebok, the new oficcial provider of the NHL.

What do you think will you still buy CCM products or change to Reebok?

I just bought a pair of Reebok shin guards, which are relabeled Jofa's. In fact they still have the Jofa logo on them along with the Reebok logo.

CCM actually absorbed many hockey companies including Jofa, KOHO, and Heaton and pretty much dissolved those brand names. CCM did this prior to them being sucked in by Reebok.

CCM is an established hockey brand name known worldwide and likely will stick around. There will be Reebok Hockey and CCM Hockey.

Nike kept the Bauer name for the same reason.

Ice hockey sticks. RBK CCM Bauer Efsi. Composite Hockey Stick

Ice hockey sticks. RBK CCM Nike Bauer Easton Warrior Sher-Wood TPS Hespeler Efsi. Composite Hockey Stick. Hockey Equipment - www.KiaBet.com

who makes the best hockey equipment tps, ccm,Nike Bauer, easton!?

i need expert advice

All those are good brands. I'm kind of old fashioned, and will always be suspicious of Nike stuff, but since they merged with Bauer, its a brand I might use. It really depends on what you're getting though.
For skates, any brand would be decent. Another one to consider is Mission, they're great makers of inline skates, and I think they make quality ice stuff too. I'm not sure about TPS as far as skates goes though. Whatever you get, look into “baking” the pair you purchase, to instantly form them to your feet for better comfort and fit.
All the brands you mentioned also make their own quality composite sticks, but I've always been loyal to Easton sticks. They revolutionized the composite stick with the Synergy and always seem to be on the forefront of technology. Mission and Rebok also make sticks of decent quality, though Rebok is relatively new to the hockey world, so be cautious.
When it comes to pads (shoulder, hip breezers, elbow, & shin) Its more about the model than the brand. All manufacturers offer a wide range of models to choose from for each piece of equipment, so all you need to know is how much you want to spend. All these same brands make helmets too, but I’ve fallen in love with the Bauer-Nike (just Bauer when I bought mine) models with the quick-size-adjust feature for easy fitting. Gloves are something that I think a lot of players find really important. You can get fed up with a bad pair, so its smart to really shop around. Eagle Gloves, out of Canada is the crème de la crème of gloves. For something good but more affordable, look into the Nike-Bauer Vapor series which are light and of good quality. Make sure you try on all the different sizes available to find the best feel, because its commonly misconceived that gloves are a one-size-fits-all kind of deal.
As far as buying this stuff, Hockeygiant.com has good deals, but nothing beats physically trying everything yourself, so go to your local pro-shop first.

What does CCM stand for in hockey equipment?

Canada Cycle & Motor Co. Ltd or Reebok today.

which has better hockey equipment nike bauer or reebok ccm?

I prefer CCM when I skate out (as opposed to being goalie) I wear =

CCM helmet + face shield, Cooper shoulder pads, CCM elbow pads,
Sherwood gloves, Sherwood pants, Easton shinguards, CCM skates.

I think it's most important it fit + protect properly. Brand is just a name.

should I buy this hockey equipment?

I was searching online for some ice hockey equipment when I came upon http://www.hockeymonkey.com/ and found these...

- CCM V08 hockey helmet combo (Large in Black)
- CCM V06 hockey gloves (14" in Black/Gold)
- RBK 3K hockey pants (XL in Black)
- RBK 3K shoulder pads (Large)
- RBK 3K elbow pads (medium)
- RBK 3K shin guards (15")
(shoulder pads, elbow pads and shin guards are in a combo)
- 2 rolls of renfrew coloured grip tape (yellow)
- 3 rolls of renfrew coloured cloth tape (white)
- 3 rolls of renfrew coloured cloth tape (black)

I already have a pair of CCM V6.0 hockey skates
(the ones with the blue on the side).

The total of all of this is $324.88 tax included.
I have $350 from christmas left over.
I'm a beginner player at 12.5 years old.

Do you think I should get it? Yes or no and please explain why.
I already have Skates (said above)
3 sticks easton elite, rbk 6k and ccm v06.
A jill
Socks and jersey
And a neck protector

I think you should go to your local hockey store and try everything on first if you can find them. Buying online is great, but what if they don't fit you. Make sure it fits properly. If everything goes well, buy it if that's what you really want.

Also, try www.hockeygiant.com . They might have the same stuff but at a lower price.
Edit: Nevermind, it's the same thing, except hockey monkey has combos.
