Man oh man am I happy I am a Canadian now. I do not miss those dark days at all when I was begging, pleading and struggling to watch any decent hockey whilst I was in the States.
My first video of hockey. Clips of Carolina Hurricanes Hockey of the 07/08 season so far. Some of the goals are as recent as the FLA game last ...
People watching the game that know nothing about it. I guess you have to spend some time not screwing your family.
I don't care that the oilers lost last night. and 3/4 of the canes team are from canada was that should settle some of the lame answers i've been getting.
I'm going to agree with dixiegirl687 and john_c but add:
8. You're giving the rest of us in the military a bad name.
Hockey in the south is not a fad; there are plenty of us who do know hockey, and trying to perpetuate an ignorant image only makes you look bad.
Okie dokie! first question...
Let's start with my Carolina Hurricanes question- We all knew that they won the stanley cup a couple of years ago but my question is what are the chances that they might win the cup this season (08-09)? cuz they have like great players especially Eric Staal. Anyways If your NOT! a Canes fan please don't put BAD answers.
Okay now let's move on to my Montreal Canadiens question. This will be random but where do you download their former goal song that they used in the 90's to listen please click on the links below:

That will be all Thanks!
The Hurricanes honestly have very little chance to win. They're in the east, while they can make the playoffs the teams they have to put up with are the Rangers, The Penguins, The Devils, Maple Leafs, Senators, and then in the West with the Red Wings, The Sharks, and to be honest i don't think the Canes are that great. As for the Goal song.....
Itunes? I guess the website that's how my friend got the Rangers goal song
I ask this because I am watching this Wild v. Canes game and they mentioned that Jeff Skinner was a world class figure skater in Canada...do you think this will really benefit his skating in transition to hockey or not so much?
Also any other NHL players you know of who figure skated?
BQ: What's colder northern Alberta or Siberia?
Figure skating worked in the Mighty Ducks, so it has to work in real hockey right? It can help the player with balance and better skating skills.
There is a tv show on the CBC called Battle of the Blades that has former NHLers partner up with figure skaters. This season just started, and Theoren Fleury is on it.

BQ* I don't really know, but Manitoba is pretty damn cold because of Lake Winnipeg. We get the winds come down from the arctic, and the lake makes it colder. Its not uncommon for a week or two to be below -45 Celsius with the windchill.

On Tuesday, the Hurricanes won their third straight game and extended their streak to eight games in which they’ve earned at least one standings point. It wasn’t a pretty game, and they needed the shootout to earn the extra point, winning 6-5 against the Flames. At one point late in the second, the Canes had a three goal lead, but the pesky Flames fought back and nearly stole the game in regulation. Although it was nerve-wracking, the Canes got the two points and there’s no harm in giving away one point across conference lines.
Jussi Jokinen, who missed six games with a “lower body concern” returned to the lineup with a bang: he scored two goals and assisted on another. Cam Ward was named to the All-Star roster Tuesday morning, and also returned to the lineup after backing up Justin Peters two games in a row. He didn’t put up All-Star numbers, but he picked up the win, and that’s what matters the most.
