ya i agree with LITY...the kotiaks seemed like a good team for you until i figured out what kind of hockey you played. And you cant be telling me that if you were in the OHL-P-S 05/06 and uv played these levels of hockey that you havent had an invite yet?

Im from alberta and iv heard of lots of teir 1 teams that have open tryouts...just research teams in the westish area..im shure youll find one.

Did anyone watch the Canadian Junior Hockey team win their third straight gold medal?



That was a great game. Both teams had amazing talent. Was must see viewing for any hockey fan.
Officiating was poor. usually is in junior hockey though.

Always interesting to see rosters of these teams years later and see who's starring in the NHL. I'm sure there'll be a slew of them from these 2 teams.

    It is a good thing that the World Junior hockey tournament did not last any longer. Another week, and we might have had a border war.

    Even as it was, I think we saw a different side of the normally placid, polite, patient good neighbors we thought we knew. Buffalo was invaded by a sea of red. The tide has receded, leaving behind some hard feelings, shattered stereotypes and an aftertaste as bad as the backwash from a warm Molson.

    Whatever happened to the polite, humble, rule-respecting folks we thought we knew? Where were the civic-minded citizens who dutifully wait at the street corner when the traffic light is red, even when no cars are coming? Wherever you are, we want you back.
