Red an Black always works. The Devils do a good job with that, simple jersey no unnecessary stripes like RBK loves to have with their new jerseys.
I think the Bruins do it the best. But they're just classic.
The Kings do a great job with it too. Their alternates are great, and the old Black and Silver was one of the best jerseys of all time.
Those all had plain black, no stripes pants.

I like my pro 5000 tacklas. Everything makes sense, nothing's badly designed, they have zippers, they have great padding.... check them out. And they're not much more expensive then the mid range pants of the big brands.
Tackla specializes in pants... they're probably the best.
rbk 8k with the adjustable thigh pad and strap are the most comfortable. the only thing is that they dont have as thick as pads and there is one little area missing pads so if you get hit there like i did, you get a huge bruise. but, they are really comfortable and move with your legs better than normal pants that dont have the adjustable leg straps.
