Your best bet is to just buy them online, like amazon, or even ebay. Trying to find a company that will sell those exact shoes and have that size in stock is going to be difficult, it would probably be a lot less effort to grab them online and wait for shipping...but if time is a factor then sorry i don't know of any stores
Asics Blackheath LE Shoe at total-hockey
I play Bantam Hockey and my coach wants us to jog and workout (he tests us at the end of the summer). The workouts include a lot of agility work and my shins just cant take it. I bought new shoes and they dont help (they are asics)
i get these ALOT during track session.
my coach is a professional and reccomeded this to me and it seemed to work
if you have a bucket of some sort (ice bucket, mop bucket etc) fill it less than halfway with ice... then cold water. put both your feet in the bucket...the water/ice should be high enough to cover your shins.
I KNOWWW that this sounds crazy and its EXTREMLY HORRID to put your legs in freezing water
but it will work
leave it in there for a time period of NO LONGER than 15 minutes
after the first 4 minutes you'll ajust to the cold
after the 15 minutes take your feet out ..dry them and rub your shins applying pressure
if u dont have a bucket try this in the bath tub
if you have ice packs u can apply them for 15 minutes
on and off
repeat this and hopefully it will help.

Ok, i live in Australia at the moment. I'm canadian and i play hockey. i moved here thinking there will be no hockey so i gave all my Equipment to the less fortunate. I just realized there is a hockey team and i'm going to play or them.
Point is i want to buy skates but skates here are millions of dollars (exaggeration) So im getting my grandmother to bring skates over from canada to me. I am looking at easton synergy ES16 or Nike Bauer Vapor XXII
And my shoe size is different in all my shoes well some the same but here:
Under armor: 9.5
Etnies: 9
Adidas: 9
Asics:9.5
and european its like 43
What skate size should i get please help?
I'm terribly sorry but I figure skate. I'm sure this would relate to hockey skates also- "In figure skating, each brand is different and it depends on what type of regualar shoe that you compare it to. Even with the charts posted on websites and in stores, I would always try them on before purchasing (though I did by my Jackson Freestyles from the web without trying them on)."
If they're are any coaches or a pro in the ice sports (preferibly hockey) area that you have contact with, I would recommend talking to them about your new hockey skates. Good luck!

I've been active most my life playing hockey, but now that I've gotten older I don't play in a competitive high school league anymore therefore I don't get as much exercise as I would like. I'm starting to run now...both for fun and for fitness...and would love to hear some advice from any of you more experienced out there. I signed up for a 5k in my area in 6 weeks so that has been good motivation for me so far!
I'm going to head out to get some running shoes tomorrow, just some inexpensive ones to get me started...most likely asics because they seem to fit me well. Other than that, any suggestions?
Asics are great shoes, good choice. Just make sure that you get a pair that's right for your feet; go to a running shoe store to get someone to look at you.
It might be hard at first, since you're not used to running, but stick with it and you'll have fun! Good luck.
