I can't describe them any better then that. They look like full length pants instead of the commonly worn shorts. They were used in the 70's and 80's. I am wondering if players still wear them.
Cooperalls. I think the Flyers were the last to wear them, in the early 80s. They were very ugly.

Lots of times teams sell off some of their equipment at the end of the year or donate them. You should look into the closet NHL city and maybe call someone in the front office. Also, most minor league teams do the same thing and use their NHL teams logo on their pants. Or you could look on eBay or some websites like rivercitysports.com which sells pretty much anything NHL/hockey related.
Is Tackla owned by Adidas-Saloman (owners of RBK)?
If Ripper's never heard of Tackla, my guess is he's not a true hockey fan!

How to Tell if Gear is NHL-Legal or Not? - Goalie Store Bulletin Board
My league is requiring next season that all goalie equipment meets the new NHL/IIHF size requirements. This means I need all new gear. When shopping around on-line sometimes the website specifies that the equipment is NHL-legal. Sometimes not. Is there any source on-line (website, database, etc.) where I could go to check, if not specified elsewhere? My leg-pads and gloves were custom ordered to be NHL-legal, so I'm sure about them. But when looking for pants and a C/A I'm having a hard time figuring out whats legal or not. Is it safe to say all equipment manufactured in the last 2-3 years is NHL-legal? Some stuff, like for example Velo 2 leg pads that were made around the time of the switch...
