Where can i get just plain Nike hockey pants like the players in the World Junior Championships?

Your local rink will have a "Pro Shop" where they sell all hockey equipment.

You'll find them there.

I personally prefer Shell/gerdule.

Why are my hockey pants so f'ing big?

I have the small senior nike bauer supremes and if I get like an extra large junior they would be to small. I weigh 120-125 pounds and I am almost 5'6.

Well, hockey pants are supposed to be measured by the waist. I am about 5'7 and about 125 pounds. I wear junior xl, they are just a little short but the fit on the waist is perfect. I was going to buy senior small too but they did seem a bit big. If they are big and are falling, you can use suspenders, I use them anyway just so they won't fall. If you are tall and skinny, it could be a problem, you could get custom ones but they always cost more.

Hockey gear for toddlers?

I was wondering where I could find hockey gear for toddlers (age 3 specifically). My son has just started skating and lucky for us he fits into junior skates. I really want to find him hockey pants (long, not the girdles) so that his knees are protected. I have looked on some sites but the junior sizes seem to be a bit too large.

Any suggestions would be most welcome.
Thanks. Yes, I did forget a very important piece of info.

I live in PA, near King of Prussia. Not sure if that helps.

I do have some shin/knee guards that were given to us but he complains about them (they fit a bit strangely). I was just hoping to find the pants and protection all in one. If all else fails I will do what you suggested and try to work with the shin guards.

Head over to The Hockey Shed in Havertown. It is on Brookline Blvd, about a block away from the Skatium and less than a half hour from where you live. Ask for Max or Ronnie. Max is the owner and Ronnie is his son. I have been doing business with them for decades, they will give you straight answers, put your son in the proper fitting equipment he needs and have a good selection of equipment in those sizes in stock. I just bought my 2 year old his first skates and helmet there for Christmas and I make all of my major purchases there. They are also one of only 2 places in this area that I will allow to sharpen my skates.

EDIT: I will not post my full name here on the site but if you mention my screen name, they will likely know who recommend the store. They have done the sweaters for the Lubers for years.

EDIT: I am not a big fan of those one piece equipment suits. People are built differently, short torso plus long legs, short legs, long torso, etc. You will find better fit buying individual pieces of equipment which in turn leads to better protection. Brand A shin pads and pants may be a good fit for one person. Brand A shin pads and Brand B pants will be a better fit for another.

Do goalies have different hockey socks than regular players, who wear them over shin guards?

I've been wearing stretchy exercise pants under my gear but want to go to wearing the regular socks, like the rest of my team. But since I don't have shin guards under them, they're very loose. Junior size would be too short, I think. So do most goalies just wear them and they're loose, or is there a different size?
Thanks.

Well, I'm a goalie and I wear the socks. Last season they ordered huge socks so that they were even too big for some of my team mates, so I have two pairs of never been worn socks. I wear the pair I got my first season playing. They fit tightly, and I'm very use to them. I already talked to my team manager (playing on the same team as last year), and he said that when he places the order he will order mine in a smaller size so that I can match the team.

I've never had a coach tell my I have to match, and I just played on a District bound 19U team. I have seen a few goalies who don't wear anything over their legs. I only do that in roller hockey.

I have worn socks since I started playing. That was just how it turned out. I never had a choice between pants or sweats or socks. But, I've had to wear a jill since I started, so I guess that's why I've always worn socks.

I just get a smaller size. Maybe an adult small/medium would work for you. You really need to go to a hockey store/ website and try/measure socks on your bare legs. Then you can order that size in your team colors through your team.

Hope I helped.
