I got a great deal on a pair of CCM V 04 pants the other day.. I had to get them in an extra large for them to cover my thighs suitably. The only problem is that they are way too big around the waist and keep falling down... I'm sure some of the other hockey heads here know of something I can do to make them a bit tighter.. any help would be appreicated :)

I know it's old school (and I had to do it many times) but some clear tape around the belly if they're falling. Hockey doesn't really have cool equipment mods, old time stuff like a few skate laces or clear tape always works, plus you can say that you're a throwback and go into the corners elbows high and start stick fights, it all works out.

I need some new pants! I have a pair of CCM tacks, not very protective and getting small. What should i get? Something less than 75 dollars!
Hi I live in England so not sure how much they are there but they are pretty cheap here, the warrior bonafide pants or the rbk 5ks are what I have very comfortable and protective
I was leaning toward CCM's or Tackla's. I am 5' 11" and wear 36" pants.
I would use the Tackla's but you really need to try them on and find out for yourself. Go to a hockey shop like Source for Sports or Hockey Giant or a local store. I find that local hockey shops are the coolest and best... So yeah. You need to try them on and find out because only you know your body. But I would take the Tackalas.
Would you get the vapor xxxx "core pad" http://www.hockeymonkey.com/nike-hockey- pants-vaporxxxx-corepad-sr.html
or would you get Easton S17's or CCM's VO8 Vector pants?
need some help choosing here, but if you were choosing between girdles, would you get the vapor xxxx, the on90, or the easton synergy?
I would get the one90 girdle. I used pants from when I started playing at 4 until last season (13 years) when I got the one90 girdle. It is less protection, but they are so much more comfortable and barring any serious injury I will never buy pants again. My friend had the synergy girdle and they fall apart. We both bought girdles about the same time and he went through 3 synergy pants, then bought the one90 and I'm still using my first pair of one90's.
Buy Cheap
