Does anyone know who that Canadian fan is with the light on his hockey helmet and what is his story?

Honestly, this guy was at the Grey Cup, the World Juniors, and I have seen him twice at the Olympics (at men's and women's hockey). Seriously, how does he get the time/money to go all these events and why does TSN keep showing him?

He gets showed because he's interesting to look it he's just a vacationer who decided to go to the olympics. Tickets aren't as expelnsive as you would imagine.

Hockey helmet cage sizing???

Im about to buy JUST a face mask for my hockey helmet. Im gonna get the itech one, but since when is there different sizes for them? I thought there were just senior or junior? How do I know what size I need? I need a senior I know that, but i dont know what to get? (small, medium, large etc.??)

It depends on the size of your helment, it's usually listed somewhere on your helment, like after the style number. I would go to a Pro Shop before buying a cage to double check that it will fit your helment. But if you've an ITECH helment than a ITECH cage should work.

pro7 or CPX lacrosse helmet (IN HOCKEY BECAUSE MANY HOCKEY PLAYERS PLAY LAX)?

sorry yahoo does not have a lacrosse section so i put this in hockey because i know many hockey players also play lacrosse as i do. ive been playing lacrosse since 7 grade and am a junior in high school now. I play varsity lacrosse for my school. Our school does not provide helmets so everyone must have a white one.(most use cascades) I plan on replacing my current helmet old CLH2 from middle school. I will either get a whited out CPX w/ chromium mask and white chinstrap or the Pro7 with the pro silver tungsten mask. which one is better my hat size in a flexfit fitted hat is L/XL I sometimes wear an underarmou hood underneath my helmet as i play in michigan where during the spring season it can be very cold windy and wet.
Which helmet should i get. i know a major advantage of the CPX is the titanium mask , but i will not get that one. oh i also play defense.

the pro 7 is adjustable so size of head doesn't really matter. I use the pro 7 as a goalie so I know its not going to break under the pressure. Also the cpro 7 comes with a bunch of different size padding for helmet so even if you loosen it all the was or tighten it all the way you can still co further. It has a huge vision field. The biggest, I might go as far to say the only, downside to this helmet is the old decals don't fit on it and you need to use visor stickers to change colors. The pro7 feels lighter and give you a safety feeling (as it wraps around your head perfectly) that makes you feel invincible. Thats the only down side for anyone who doesn't need a throat guard (because the shape is weird to drill on)

why do u have to wear a visor that is attached by clips or straps to the helmet if u play jr hockey in canada?

how come u cant where a visor attached by the screws? what is the specific reason? and i think that may be the rule in all junior leagues even in the US

ok the mask is attached to the helmet using screws clips AND straps. the screws attach the front to the top of the helmet and the straps keep the mask in place by using clips to attach the straps to the mask and the side of the helmet.. or at least thats how it is in the us

How can I tell if a visor will fit my helmet?

Hey, I was going to join my first adult hockey league (im 18) and wanted to buy a visor for my helmet which currently has a broken cage. I've played with visors before using my cousins hand me downs for fun just to see what its like. Anyways I tried moving my cousins visor to my actual helmet and it didn't really fit, up until now i thought there was basically a junior size that fits all junior helmets and a senior so... I just wanted a little rundown as to how visor sizes work. thanks.

You may just not have all the hardware, like the spacers and correct screws. Any half shield from this link should fit with the proper hardware:

I prefer and wear Bauer straight pro half. I have worn a bunch and this one fogs up the least and still offers decent protection.

  • Junior Hockey Stick | The Hockey Helmet

I want a junior bauer vector hockey stick CHEAP.

Try to find a good pro shop and if you're lucky, they'll have one of those "build your stick" type displays for Bauer. They have samples of all their patterns and give you all their options on flex and such. There's a monitor on the display to help you out. It may not be cheap as you'd like, but you'll come away with the exact stick you want from them. I've seen it myself and it's pretty neat, although I'm not a fan of any Bauer patterns.

For grades 5 through adult. Designed for rugged institutional use, the shaft is made of extra strong co-extruded ABS plastic which provides high impact resistance by strengthening...
