Will an itech clear hockey face mask scratch if it is dropped or hit by an object?

I am a quite good hockey player, and have started playing, and i need a hockey helmet with a full face mask. I like the design of the helmets with clear face masks. I am looking at a mission helmet with an itech concept II face mask, is that good? Will it scratch if it is dropped or hit?

Yeah they always do no matter what brands they are, they are beauty until they get scratched and then you're always just like, FACK i wish i would of stayed with my cage. Dude just get a cage with a grey interior it kind of makes a difference about visibility. if your's isnt broken then don't bother its not worth it but if your lookin gfor a new one then yeah its worth it.

How can I remove anti fog coating on hockey helmet shield?

The anti fog coating on the inside of my Itech helmet shield is scrathed and i want to remove it and apply a new coating.

go to your local eyeglass shop. they carry lens cleaner. this solution will remove small scratches. leave visor fog free for many months. also costs one tenth of similar item at sporting goods stores. if you have deep scratches. please take your Visor to OPTICAL shop. the will buff all scratches out for you. if you purchase the cleaner free. if you do not purchase the cleaner free. it is the only want go. simple long lasting. the best fix available. have used this method for years, hated the visor.

I just bought a Reebok 8K ice hockey helmet large. Itech Recon X200 full face shield it doesn't fit it? Why?

Not all masks fit all helmets.

Several online stores have fit guides as to "will this mask fit?" and will list masks and what helmet(s) they do and don't fit.

hockey helmet question?

My Itech helmet right now has a 4 inch gap behind my head, and could be a perfect puck to the head. Thats wouldn't be pretty, and my coach recommend I get a new one. So I need a new helmet. My helmets size is 55-62. Besides that my helmet is fine. Anybody got sizing suggestions? Or a website? Preferably a size. THANKS!!!
PS. Read my other hockey question too. THANKS!!

4" gap? That's not right. That sounds like a helmet that is too big for you, or something is broken / missing, like the foam padding.

If your helmet is new enough, you can try adjusting the straps to shorten everything. However, at 4", that's a lot more than the straps should have.

Do like oviefan said, go to a hockey shop and get fitted for the correct size helmet.

Hockey helmet cage sizing???

Im about to buy JUST a face mask for my hockey helmet. Im gonna get the itech one, but since when is there different sizes for them? I thought there were just senior or junior? How do I know what size I need? I need a senior I know that, but i dont know what to get? (small, medium, large etc.??)

It depends on the size of your helment, it's usually listed somewhere on your helment, like after the style number. I would go to a Pro Shop before buying a cage to double check that it will fit your helment. But if you've an ITECH helment than a ITECH cage should work.
