Hockey Helmet Visors

Well. I just got a hockey helmet half visor for my son, and he keeps complaining about how bad it is fogging up. We have tried the anti-fog, and a few other things. But it keeps fogging! I heard dishsoap works well but also distorts the image through the visor.

If you haven't already...Try Rain-X Glass Cleaner with Anti-fog Wipes. It worked for me.

I have a cage currently but dislike it and think its kinda childish looking so now i want to get i visor. The only thing im worried about is how well it will look. Does it suite everyone?

I used to play with a black cage and was contemplating the same question. I like the full facial protection a cage offers, but I like the clarity of a visor. I decided to just get a clear cage. Hockey monkey or hockey giant has one on clearance (the itech -or bauer- concept II) for a fairly good price and fits most helmets. I ended up getting the concept 1 instead. They have newer technology in the clear cages that prevent scratching and fogging. I would suggest getting one of these for optimum clarity and protection.
If you do opt to go with just a visor, I would highly suggest wearing a mouth guard (if you don't already). If you get hit, this 2 dollar piece of equipment will save you well over 3,000 bucks in dental bills.

I Just ordered a Reebok 6k Helmet Size medium Hockey Helmet. I also ordered a oakley VR903 pro straight visor with it. Do i need spacer to get it to fit. Please Help !THankyou!!

I used to have somethin kinda that on mine, in order to make a clear visor somewhat tinted when usin it outdoors to keep the sun and / or snow lite away from my face.

I just got an Easton Stealth S9 helmet and Oakley Hall visor but the visor wont fit the helmet. Which visor would?
