Ccm Hockey Helmet

It's better than nothing, but hockey helmets don't normally fit as well as snowsports helmets do. I see way too many hockey helmets come off way too easily when I watch games. Likewise, you'll want to wear a hat underneath the hockey helmet because they typically lack insulation. Wearing a hat under a helmet that already fits you well will make the helmet too tight and it may not fit correctly now.

Most ski resorts now rent helmets. Usually only for $5. Spend the money on the rental helmet and get something that fits and will stay on if you have a collision.

I got a new ccm hockey helmet and the pads in it are a little hard and tight (on the sides) but if i loosen it the helmet is to loose is there any way to soften the pads in the helmet

Why would you want to? It is designed to help you with concussions and be protective. You should return it and buy a new helmet that fits comfortably.

i had a ccm V10 helmet and i didnt like it that much because the screws are always falling out.
I need a new helmet (maroon to match my high school team) i was looking at the nike bauer 9500 and the reebok 8k which one is better.
i know i can put my ccm cage on the reebok

Hi, so I had a crappy CCM helmet. I got the Nike Bauer 9500 helmet and tried putting the cage on, but it seems that CCM doesn't fit as well as the Reebok 8k. If you have a kinda narrow head, you should get the Nike 9500/8500 , if you have a wider head, get the reebok 8k. But if I were you and the Nike felt comfortable, I'd get it because they last longer, have extremely comfortable gel insides, and even though you have to buy a cage, they cost minimum $25 and are pretty good quality. The Reebok 8k however doesn't have as much protection as the nike and is more vulnerable to concussions.

its not a hockey team its just going to a skating rink and just skating around not actully playing hockey

Uhm. You should not be worried about how you look playing or learning hockey. You should be worried about learning and playing only. Most guys think that women look good in those hockey helmets all sweaty with no make up on after playing their butts off. I should know I am a woman player.
