does anyone have the cascade hockey helmet? and do you like it??
We evaluated these at the one goal hockey show. They are a great product and am surprised that they have not cuahgt on more. No helmet will prevent 100% of the cuncussions in hockey but these are probably the most advanced I have seen to date. The fit was good based on the variety of heads that we tried it on and found them not to be a whole lot warmer/hotter than the average helmet on the market today

I don't know, I'm from the states. But, if you're interested in buying one, I say go for it. I just bough a Cascade, and I must say it's the most comfortable helmet I've ever used.

Almost everyone i know (on my prep school and AAA team) thinks that they are ugly.
I don't like them either. They are ugly.
I just got another concussion from get cheap checked into the boards (in hockey), and the doctor said if I get one more concussion from anything, then I'm done with any sports, so could you guys help me out? Should I get the Cascade m11 or is there a better helmet?
(a) This is a good question for your doctor, honestly.
(b) A helmet won't prevent a concussion, as concussions are caused by the brain moving and hitting the inside of your skull. If you get multiple concussions, you are likely putting yourself in vulnerable/dangerous conditions. If you can play smarter, you will reduce your risk of concussions far more than you will by getting a different helmet.
Everyone on my highschool team has a black helmet. I know you can dye a plastic lacrosse head so I am wondering if I take the pading out of it helmet if I can dye it.
P.S I have a cascade so please don't refer me to just go buy a new helmet

Easton Stealth S19 Z-Shock Review | Hockey Helmet HQ
When the good folks at Easton sent me one of their new Stealth S19 Z-Shock helmets earlier this year, I was excited to give it a try. Billed as being “ the lightest helmet in the NHL ” while offering premium protection, it was debuted during the Vancouver Olympics to great acclaim, and given all the concern lately about head injuries in hockey, Easton is clearly trying to provide a product which meets a growing demand in the hockey marketplace.
After having played with it now for several weeks, I can tell you that this is easily the most comfortable hockey helmet I’ve ever worn, and at least in my experience it also offers solid protection, too. While skating, you hardly even notice you’re wearing it, which is pretty much the highest compliment you can give a piece of protective equipment. But it’s certainly there to do its job; during one game about a month ago, I was slew-footed along the boards, went down hard to the ice backwards, and thankfully avoided injury despite whacking the back of my head on impact.
