hey i was wondering i used to have an easton hockey bag but the zipper all broke, but the hockey bags cost a lot so should i just buy an athletic works wheeled sport bag from canadian tire it holds a lot of gear and its only $20!.
tell me if any of you use other bags that are not hockey brands easton bauer tps reebok etc.
It depends on what you want to do. If you don't mind about transporting your bag on your shoulders or if you have a car to get to the rink there is no necessary need to buy a wheeled bag. But if what you're carrying is heavy or/and you don't have a car, it might help a lot.
I used to have a regular hockey bag but since I bring my equipment to school which is about an hour from my house, having to take the bus, the subway then walk, I switched to a wheel-bag because my goalie gear was too heavy to walk with.
It might be the time to change it if the zip is all broke. Even more if you're having trouble using it. $20 for a wheel-bag is a great price since most of them are over $50. I think it will do the job, so if I was you, I would buy it. Spending a little more will give better quality but you should be fine with that. And you won't feel as guilty for wasting the money when you will replace it. Just make sure it's a hockey bag preferably, if not check if the material is reinforced and thick enough to support your things (skates, etc)
My hockey bag is a Hockey Canada one, about 33-34 inches, wheeled bag, not the current bag they sell at Canadian Tire but the previous model. The only con I would have for it is that it cannot stand on its wheels (which might have been useful for example if I'm in line waiting for the bus), I have to lay down the bag everytime.
How to attach the wheel assembly to an i-radd bag. This is the only wheeled bag that I know of that you can remove the wheels and wash the bag if ...
My 9 year old plays hockey and loves it. I am a tennis player and have no clue about the sport. I would like it a lot more if the change room has the air sucking fans like those in the bathroom.
But here's the question - where can I get him a good inexpensive hockey bag? His current bag is just shabby compare to some of the coach boys. I really love my son although I hate the change room smell :$(
A product link would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for a WHEELED black referee hockey bag that has SEPERATE pockets for my skates, and has good ventalation throughout. The bag does NOT have to be hockey specific bags such as suitcases would work. If you can please give me a model number or website or something.
Here you are, Chief.

Look to get my brother a lacrosse bag with wheels but there is few to pick from but many hockey bags. Is there a difference between the two because they look really similar.
Not really any difference. Some hockey bags have special skate holders on the outsides which would be pretty much useless for lacrosse.
Unless there is a certain brand he is looking for (ask him) a hockey bag should do the trick.

Best goalie bag today - Goalie Store Bulletin Board
I've searched the forum and found older posts but nothing recent for bags. So I'm wondering who makes the best bag today? I need a new bag, the grit is nice but $300 is a little steep and i have read some less than positive reviews and I need a bag big enough I can fit my sled in it (sledge hockey),on wheels and durable enough to not get torn up by the spikes on my stick. My sled is about 43" long. I currently have an old Itech but it's full of holes I'm waiting for things to start falling out. Thanks for the help. I think the Vaughn bag is the best bet. Great materials (the nylon used is the thickest I've seen) and solid construction. Only weak point is the buckles, they are flimsy and...
