1) Do you judge a book by its cover regarding other hockey fans? I know I have been judged before on many instances. I am an average looking girl (I mean that I do not appear butch or anything), and I have been disregard in many hockey discussions. Secondly, has anybody ever disregarded your opinion based upon where you live, your most beloved team, or your appearance?

2)If a hockey rink really had corners (like 90 degree angle type), would battles in the corner get more rough….or more boring? Like would guys just rush over and pop a squat on the puck?

3)The Belle Centre has about 22,500 seats….which I believe is the largest. How big is too big? How many seats can you stuff in an arena before it starts getting pointless?

4)If Gordie Howe really named his kids Gordie….would they be called Mr. Hockey Jr.?

5)NHL logo jewelry……tacky OR hip?

6)If the penalty box were really a box…… it should have a top, right?

7)How do you normally sit while watching hockey at home. Indian style, laying down, sitting on your tummy, edge of you seat?

1) My accent gets me disregarded, most of the time...

2)Rougher. Guys under 6'0 would not chase the puck in corners, It would have the same effect of the trapezoid on the goalie.

3)As long as you can se the puck it wouldn't matter....

4) That would jinx the kid. Lindros & Crosby, case & point.

5)Hip if its not plastic.

6) Only when your team plays the Rangers

Have you ever noticed…

1)…that for some strange reason, everything looks better under arena lighting? Citizens of your town look more friendly and attractive. Beer looks more appetizing. Everything looks more vibrant…..and no it is not just because I am drunk. Agree or disagree?

2)…that NO NHL hockey team has pink in their logos? How can a color automatically make you a sissy? If you see a guy wearing a pink polo shirt, do you also wonder what it looks like with blood on it?

3)…that there are entire families of referees? Don Koharski retired this season, which provoked me to look into his history. It is like “My cousin Vinny”…..my brothers a referee, my sons a referee, my other sons a referee. So, what kind of pathetic kid grows up and says, “Screw hockey, I want to ref.”?

4)…that security is WAY more lenient at NHL games versus NFL games. I went a handful of NFL games this year (free tickets…nothing better to do). They magnetically wand your entire body and then give you a complete pat down. Going to NHL games this year, if you have a bag…they search the bag or purse. If you are not carrying anything, you just walk directly into the arena. Why is security so different?

5)…that many teams excessive wore their new 3rd jersey this season? What is the point? In my opinion, wear that crap during practice……have one jersey for home…and one for away. Stop messing with teams jerseys. Agree….or do I need to talk a Midol and shut up?

2) Atlanta came close with the powder blue.

3) going to have ta ask Lubers, it seems like a good way to stay in hockey once you realize you have no future playing professionally

4)Size of the crowd is probably a factor 20K vs 80K. Maybe because most NFL player carry a gun they expect the fans to have one too.

5) Atlanta is bringing in a pink one next year. Its about selling merchandise but some of the third ones are pretty lame. The Bolts and Sens ones come to mind. I actually enjoy some like Buffalo's retro one that the should make the main jersey.

there was recently a question asked about if all the numbers from 1-99 have been used. the answer was yes. my question is, who is the douche bag that picked #69 and wore that proudly in the NHL?
Mel Angelstad? what era did he play in? and team?
Just looked him up. "the mangler". only played 2 games in the NHL both with the Caps.
