I saw it on a website amongst the player bags and the dimensions seem to be big enough for my goalie gear. Question is, do yall think it'd be strong enough? I am currently using a Vapor goalie bag in the same dimensions but it was sold as a goalie bag whereas the XXXX is not. Your thoughts and insight please?

I need to buy a gearbag for all of my hockey gear but I can't afford to spend 40 bucks for a gearbag. I was wondering if I can use a very large duffel bag as an alternative, and if so, where can I find a cheap one.
Head down to your local army/navy store and pick up a gear bag, ya know the OD green ones that military folks get issued to carry their stuff around in. You could probably even find one pretty cheap at a goodwill or something.

i play ice hockey and i'm considering buying a first generation miata. i would like to know if you can fit a gear bag into the trunk and sticks inside the passenger compartment.
Its gonna be a chore.
You can get the gear in the trunk...the sticks will most likely...well..for sure have to go up front with you.
We have no where to leave his hockey gear and bag beside in our apartment... no where to air it out! So he lays his stuff on the floor to dry them out!!! It sure stinks..!!! I am just a pain and just deal with the smell... or?
Spray with fabreeze or lysol. Burn insense or scented candles. Open the windows and put fans on to get the smell out That is about all you can do.
My hockey bag smells! My mom cant stand it! I've tried washing my gear, and it smelled fresh for about a day, so I need other ways. Can anyone help me?
I took mine to a professional cleaning place. They do all kinds of equipment. It smelt wondeful, for about a month. Only problem is its really expencive, but its worth it. You wouldnt believe the bacteria that build up. Its really disgusting. If you get cuts you can get infected.. so I'd recommend having it professionally cleaned once a year.
