Pretty simple question, how much would it cost me to ship a hockey bag full of equipment across the country. If anyone has any experience doing this, please let me know.

What's in My Hockey Bag

Can i check in a hockey bag at the airport?
People volunteering, cleaning up the aftermath of Vancouver's 2011 hockey riot

I'm traveling and I bought a hockey bag to put my stuff in. I know the bag can't be any more than 50 pounds or else there is an extra fee, but what about the actual size of the bag, because a hockey bag is much bigger than a regular duffel bag? Any hockey players know the answer?

Go to your airline website and look for the baggage rules. That will tell you the size and weight limits of the bags you are allowed to take for both checked and hand luggage. If your Hockey bag exceeds the linear dimensions allowed for your flight then check out the oversize bag rules and charges, if any.

Do not exceed the weight allowance or you may end up with an oversize bag charge and an excess weight charge, not funny as these can be expensive.

My husband wants a new hockey bag, can anyone suggest a good one?
Granville Street – Stanley Cup Finals – June 10, 2011 - Vancouver Celebrates Canucks Win

He wants a bag with a seperate spot for his helmet and a pocket for each of his skates. He said it would probably have to be a goalie bag to fit all his stuff. I don't know anything about hockey bags, so if someone could suggest a good site or a good brand that would be great! Thanks!

Is your husband a goalie? because that makes a huge difference...

As for the separate spot for his helmet, I don't know of any bags that have that except for this one: http://hockeymonkey.com/shock-doctor-hoc key-bag-dry.html
there is no separate pocket for skates, but it partitions them off from the rest of the equipment so they won't cut anything. I use skate guards as well...

If your husband is a goalie though, that won't work because of the way it's set up.

you could try something like this one... http://hockeymonkey.com/ccm-ebv10dlxwhee lbag40.html

just browse around here until you find something that could work :http://hockeymonkey.com/bags-wheel-all.h tml

But basically, there's no bad brand. there are just different styles.

Can someone help me get the stink of my hockey bag gone?
Lucy in the Hockey Skate Bag

My hockey bag smells! My mom cant stand it! I've tried washing my gear, and it smelled fresh for about a day, so I need other ways. Can anyone help me?

I took mine to a professional cleaning place. They do all kinds of equipment. It smelt wondeful, for about a month. Only problem is its really expencive, but its worth it. You wouldnt believe the bacteria that build up. Its really disgusting. If you get cuts you can get infected.. so I'd recommend having it professionally cleaned once a year.

Ice skates are worn as footwear in many sports. They are a kind of boot in which a blade is attached to the bottom; it helps the wearer to glide smoothly on ice. Roller skates and inline skates are also boots but with wheels instead of a blade to enable the wearer roll on the ice.

The first skates were made of horse’s leg bones or ox and deer’s leg bones. They were attached to legs by leather straps. Now they are worn in playing sports like ice hockey, figure skating, racing, bandy etc.

Ice hockey is one of the best enjoyed games. This is an indoor sport in which there is a stadium which has an icy ground. In this game, all players wear skates, boots with wheels or blades. These boots help them to glide and roll on the icy surface very easily. These boots are one of many different hockey equipments.
